Maybe sweep out the truck from the previous person. Also it was at a gas station so filling it with gas would be helpful since it’s right there.

Uhaul gave us the wrong address from the app. There was no cell service when we got there.

Not only would I not recommend this location to a friend, this experience makes me not want to recommend u-haul to a friend. This location has no signage indicating it was U-haul. The 2 u-haul trucks were what I used to determine I was at the right location. I knocked on the door of a building and tried to enter and the door was locked. I made an assumption that the gas station next door might be affiliated (I later saw the fine print on the receipt that stated to call a certain number when I arrived). The employee saw the truck and trailer we were returning and immediately started telling me I had to unload the trailer with a jack that he had and I needed to put the trailer in one location and put the truck in another. I explained to him I had no experience detaching a trailer from a truck, I was not instructed I needed to do the such, and that I was running late picking up my kids from school; therefore, I needed to return this equipment as it was provided to me at the first location and I needed to leave. He started yelling at me telling me there was no way he could accept my rental and no way the two could stay together on his property because he did not have the space. I told him we pulled the truck up as far as we could to his fence and we needed to leave. He was rude and disrespectful and no type of employee that U-haul needs representing you. I was stressed, aggravated, and had a 5 minute window to return this vehicle and I spent 20 minutes there arguing with this employee trying to explain it is not my job to unhitch a trailer for u-haul. He kept saying he would help me do it, I’m trying to see why he didn’t have an employee to help him do it. Either way I never was able to explain to this employee that I was not required to stay and help him separate the two and I was late picking up my kids and had to call around to get someone to get them and I had to pay someone to pick them up. This location should be shut down. I wish I had kept my return location as Atlanta. Horrible experience. Very disappointing. I’m a 5’2 female and did not deserve the treatment I received from that man.

This Cheaha Country Store 3412 Hwy 431 Heflin AL 36264, is nothing but a fraud and have stolen 70$ from me. They are nothing but liars and thefts who should not even have authorization to provide uhaul services. To anyone that uses them my only advice is Goodluck

Entered my drop off adress wrong, had to pay 150& extra because of this person

Trailer was fine the problem was the location did not update the system when we returned the trailer until a full 24 hours later so we were charged for an extra day

The 6x12 trailer was a bit heavy for me and the little lady working there. Would be nice if they had the tool the U-Haul location in Middletown had for leveraging the weight into position on and off the hitch.

Cheaha Country Store was fantastic! They did everything in a timely manner and got us on our way. My problem was having to call U-Haul and have them change our pickup to Cheaha Country Store because our original location in Oxford did not have anyone there available to assist with signing out the trailer or anyone that knew how to do it. The guy that was there said his business partner just leaves him there to work and doesn’t know anything about how to sign them out.
