First, there should be more than one person working at whatever establishment so they can help the rental customers without having to stop and wait on other people coming in. Second, who’s responsible for making sure the rental truck is clean, in good working order, and any additional equipment ordered is on the truck and ready to go? This was an issue for me as nothing was in order pertaining to the truck, the equipment, and the information on their computer. I was upset to find broken glass, drug pipes, and garbage in the back of the truck cargo, and after spending two hours to complete the rental contract I was not a happy camper. The positive side was that the young man helping me was nice, and tried his best to handle everything though it was very difficult to understand his broken English.

Wayne MThe agent was rude, the truck was supposed to be at the Stockton location and it wasn't, I had to drive 140 miles to pick up the truck, there was quarter gas tank not half of tank. I was told that I interrupted their day off to come and give me the truck when the truck was supposed to be 10 minutes away from my house and it was 2 hrs away. I was promised a 200 dollar discount and wasn't given one, there was no walk inspection of the truck and trailer, I told the agent I was going to Texas from California and that was under 2000 miles, I didn't request no extra days and it was just the worst experience with uhual I ever had. The tires on the truck were waisted and one blew up on us in the middle of the Mojave desert with a baby and an 8yrl son on the road.. Just overall the absolute worst. The gentleman just handle me the keys n walk away into his car and left with out a walk through and I was waiting outside to find out he left.. Horrible never again.
WENDY CI waited for over an hour for someone to show up to help me because the employees who worked there weren't trained on how to do a UHaul pick up. When the person showed up, I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to help someone else before me. I would not recommend this location or UHaul in general based on my experience.
