This was the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had. I reserved the truck for 8am at a location close to my house. Then was notified U-Haul changed the location to 25 minutes away. I showed up to the new location at 8am to find the garage was locked with the truck I reserved locked in side unable to get it. Then was on hold waiting to speak with someone for 45 minutes and was told that location does not open until 9am. Why would U-Haul change my location to a place that doesn’t accommodate the time I reserved the truck? It makes zero sense. I will be using budget trucks from now on. This was a terrible experience all around.

No clear instructions for keys. The app says, go to the facility and take keys from representative. In fact keys were in the trunk that was locked and there was no code for the lock. I spent almost an hour on the phone with support to figure out what the code was. As a result I missed the window for freight elevator and movers.
