I had a reservation made the guy told me I couldn’t use my reservation he had to take me as a walk in and tried to charge me $150 extra I had to call customer service on him 3 times in the store they are doing sketchy things at this location they did not come out and check the vehicle for any damages miles or gas levels

This was our drop off. Everything was done on our u haul app. We got a receipt from inside anyway since the truck cargo area was not locked and we left 2 dollys in it.

The clerk was clues what to do never looked at me barley talk to me never updated me and it took 55 minutes to complete this and when we got to the truck there were ants all over the dash board the gas tank only had 90 miles left in the tank but when I dropped it off they required 1/2 tank my reservation was for 20 footer the computer said 15 foot was only one but 20 foot was on the lot the clerk couldn't figure out how to fix it poor service

This U-Haul location shares space with a functioning gas station. When I rented the equipment at 4p Friday, there were several people present who were helping with my U-Haul reservation (for a hand truck). When I returned the hand truck @ 8a Saturday, none of the people associated with the rental process was present. When he got around to me in the line, the clerk just opened the door to let me push the hand truck in. I asked him if I was supposed to get a receipt for the return; he said no and I left. Imagine my surprise when I received a call on Tuesday suggesting the hand truck had never been returned! The caller seems to have accepted my word that I had returned it, as I received an email receipt shortly thereafter. This rental was an alternative resource for the hand truck when my usual U-Haul location had none available.

The truck was damaged with a giant hole they tried to patch, still did not protect it from water coming down on my furniture's and TV.

This location is the best in Detroit. Ronald has a great understanding of a customer needs and has excellent customer service. The newer U-hauls are great and efficient, my wife and I had a fun time downsizing for retirement.

I had to step in the mud to get to the truck. It would have been nice if I could have purchased a lock for the truck at the time of pick up.
