They didn't give me the additional items I reserved (furniture dolly/cart and pads). It made my moving experience a lot harder. The customer service rep helped me by trying to find another location that was open but it was too far away. She ended up adjusting the total cost so that helped but it would have been better for our move had we had the proper equipment.PANGKOU X.

We had ordered a furniture dolly and furniture pads and when we arrived at the sight at 7:00am., neither of those items were in the truck. As we were to move a piano, that was essential. The location does not open until 10:00Am, while most other locations open at 8:00. We called U-Haul and they told us that the Burton location was open and we could drive 13 miles out of our way to pick up the necessary equipment and 16 miles back to our location. That was not a fun way to start our day. The phone contacts that made this all work were very nice and sympathetic to our situation, and offered us a reimbursement but that just shouldn't happen.Ben K.

I don't know why I was sent to this location when there was one closer that had the equipment. I know because we had to go to that facility in order to exchange the tow dollie as the tie downs were fraid on the one we picked up from this place. Very friendly, called and got us a new one instantly. Very hard to find as it is off the road and the sign was only on mailboxamie V.

Parking lot was in rough shape. Large pot holes and large piece of concrete in the center of the parking lot. Please place signs on lock box to complete online U-Haul check in prior to putting keys in lock box.Dustin V.
I ordered a furniture dolley and 2 pkgs of moving cloths, none were in truck and nobody to talk to about it at location. I wasn't aware I was supposed to sweep out truck at end, almost got charged $25 for not doing that!Lisa W.

Have the U-Haul computer system working properly. Sounded like company wide, the computer system was REALLY slow. After waiting 45 minutes, the agent was able to process the rental WITHOUT the computer. And was informed the same problems occurred at other locations, with lines out the doors! U-Haul needs to provide their rental agents with a computer system that works!Greg L.

The signage out front was hard to see and we had a hard time figuring out how to get to it. The truck was pretty dented up and the self-serve was not user friendly.Michael G.
I received a confirmation email the day before my pickup date, giving a guaranteed time of 9:30. I arrived at the location at 9:30 and found they weren't open until 10. The office was filthy, and they had me on their schedule for 11. The staff member was able to help me to get the truck and dolly I needed. Luckily, the Uhaul rep happened to be on-site and he was great - he helped me to hook the dolly to my truck, changed it out when the lights weren't working, and even got the truck (a 26-foot truck), pulled around a tight corner for me so that I could exit the parking lot - He was great (I did not catch his name but I know that he covers Genesee and Shiawassee counties in Michigan).Lauren A.
