For those of us who live in the Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights and Orangevale area, this location is very convenient for U-Haul rentals.
Noella FThis location is great! The employees are friendly, and professional. The Van was so nice to drive.
Tanya SOriginal location to pick up equipment did not have our truck. Had to be redirected to another location some 18 miles away. Once we got the truck it had no gas in it, less than 17 miles before empty, had to fill up. Terrible experience. Typical Uhaul.

Jay LThe person that assisted me didn't go over much about the truck and I wasn't given any paperwork or contact information after getting the truck. I had called the location to extend the time frame for the truck and I spoke with someone and they said ok but then I got a call from the store at my original return time saying they needed the truck back and I guess I had basked the wrong number for the site since they have a separate number for the u haul. I had to rush to unload the truck and bring it back since another customer had it reserved. Overall it wasn't too bad but I think they need to work more on customer service.

ERIK BI had double charges total amount 72.88$ and 72.88$ each from my credit card. And i had extra charge 76.02$ from my credit card!!! What happened! I hadn’t any accidents and use a vehicle very clearly and accurate. The guys who rent out cars don't answer questions and are rude! Bad service!
ALEKSEI GWe've rented twice from this place and each time the tricks smelled like cat pee. I ordered boxes both times. The first time they forgot to give them to me, the second time they were out, even though I paid for them online. Our first truck had a maintenance warning the entire time and the second had almost no gas.
JAMES OI was charged twice from this location and they did not allow me to be present when they closed out my contract and they were no help in resolving the conflict.

ALLEN RFollow the lead of hotels/motels, do NOT allow smoking in the vehicle. Also, the vehicle should always start with a full tank of gas.

When I got to the pick-up location, I was asked the same questions and had to provide the same answers a second time. What is the point of going through the process online when we’re required to do it again at the location? Seems counterintuitive.

TERESA RThe customer service was great.The van was a great ride, but the scent that used to make it smell clean made it almost impossible to drive. Actually made me sick. You could smell it from 12 feet away with the door open. If I hadn’t been so crunched for time I would have declined it. That is my only complaint, but it was as bad as the service was excellent.

I don’t feel that this company maintains the trucks up to U-Haul par I will never rent a vehicle at that location ever again.

Lita NInform your customers about the service and extended time policy. I am very disappointed because the guy told me I could used one more day and when l called him he asked me to bring it back on time because the truck l was using was rented to another person so l had to unload to return it.
tania mI scheduled my pickup to a different location (on Fair Oaks Blvd in Fair Oaks), but when I got a call confirmation it came back saying it would be at the address listed in my review. Not a big deal, it’s not much farther away. but when I went to this location, my account said they didn’t have any equipment reserved for me. I had to go inside and speak to someone who worked there. they had what I reserved, but the door was broken on the truck I wanted. He offered us the 20ft truck instead, which worked perfectly fine. However, I expected that because the equipment I reserved wasn’t safe to use, we wouldn’t be charged extra when being offered the larger truck, but we WERE in fact up-charged to the amount of the larger truck. The gentleman who helped us was very nice, but that was disappointing to discover after a full day of moving. I also was just very frustrated with Uhaul in general for all of the miscommunication. It cut an hour off of our time we had available to use the truck, and we had to rush through our moving day.
Marina BLocation was great! The UHAUL app on the other hand was a complete disgrace, so many issues trying to get it to work properly. Just do yourself a favor and go inside to pick up the rental.
Michael PCommunication is key. There was very little explained by the representative of the rental company, and specifically in regards to the fuel usage and replacement. I traveled all of 12 miles with very minimal fuel consumption, and since I didn't put any fuel in the truck I was charged an additional $10! Ridiculous!

JAMES WOverall did very well all issues were resolved. Miles left to empty is always higher after it settles. And seem to be lower drove about 8 miles. Put 2 gallon of gas in and still showed it to be 10 miles less then it was when I started. If the gauge was truly correct. It would get less then 2 miles per gallon. Which I believe will correct itself after it sits. The employee was completely understanding. And did an amazing job!
Raymond KTruck broke down a mile down the road, replacement truck was smaller which ended up costing more because of miles used to do multiple trips. Tried to blame the truck breaking down on me.
