We rented this well in advance and when we arrived they could not process payment and were unsure of the rental. It took over an hour to complete the process and we were told several times we would not get the uhaul due to issues on their end. We also returned this early and (3 days) and anticipated at least a small refund and did not receive it. After all the hassle I would have thought we would have had some refund. It was a huge hassle.

MARIA VWhen I arrived at the scheduled time, nobody was present at the rental store. The store was complete locked up. Called U-Haul dispatch and they called the location I was at with no answer. So they found a nearby second location. I went there, but the truck available had a flat tire, with no other one-way trucks available (but plenty of other trucks). By that time, the original location opened. So I went back and got a truck, a full hour and a half after my original appointment time. I think next time, I’ll try Penske.

GEORGE DThe clerk knew nothing and refused to help hook up the trailer. I asked the young man, but he said I could do it. I know this is against U-Haul policies and that he was just lazy and unhelpful. I had no choice but to hook the trailer up myself and do the safety check. I took pictures just in case I was questioned later. In my years of working with U-Haul, I have never seen such a disregard for customer safety. I am in my 60s and pulled my back, connecting the trailer to my truck. I had to go to my Doctor to help with my back pain and I am very frustrated at this lack of professionalism and disregard for U-Haul policies. This place of business should have NEVER been approved as a U-Haul place. The clerk was completely unhelpful and had no knowledge of how to connect the trailer. When I asked a young man for assistance, he outright refused to help, claiming he couldn't. This behavior is unacceptable and goes against U-Haul policies. I was left with no option but to hook up the trailer myself and conduct the safety check. I took pictures to safeguard myself in case I faced any questions later. In my extensive experience working with U-Haul, I have never witnessed such a blatant disregard for customer safety. I am in my 60s, and as a result of connecting the trailer to my truck, I injured my back and now need to see my doctor for treatment. This lack of professionalism and outright violation of U-Haul policies is infuriating. This location should never have been authorized as a U-Haul rental site.

AGUSTIN BThey seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing and then they were trying to add a deposit after I had already booked online and did not have a deposit from the original place I booked with. I had to tell the worker how to use his own equipment to o help me with the payment part.
CELINA WLocation was fine during the day. Felt a bit unsafe for women alone.
Malin ROriginal pickup time was 8am and it got changed to 9am, that was not the issue. The issue was we waited 10-15 minutes after 9am for the store to open up and no one showed up. Pick up time got changed to 11am because of it & when talking to the employee I asked what time they open & he said “sometimes 9 or 10” which is not ideal after they have operating times on Google that say 8am & especially when people are getting items reserved for 9am. It caused me to be 3 hours late in getting to my destination.

Sonia DI had an appointment to pick up trailer at 9:0 am, the owner of the location did not show up until 9:45. Very disappointed that it was not available when it should have been. Would not recommend this location!!!!

JOSE CI had an issue with the van doors not locking. The problem was easily resolved by the store that rented the vehicle. Unfortunately, the customer service line was not able to assist by phone, they arranged for roadside assistance from a service not in my town that took 2.5 hrs to come and they took were not able to lock the doors. I was unable to leave the van packed overnight as needed sine the vehicle would not lock. I requested a partial refund due to the matter that literally ate 6 hours of my life and twice as much loading and unloading. I would still like a refund and recommend that the brand new vehicle with digital display have a manual in the vehicle and that customer assistance have access to this type of troubleshooting information or a tier two line be in place for those with assistance needs. I am happy with the gentleman that rented and assisted but it would have been better to have access to them for help since it was a one minute fix. Thank you

Juana FClerk was late to open and he wouldn't give us our keys even after we showed him the receipt. We had to call customer service to talk to him, and he still didn't give us the key because he said his system is down. The customer service agent had to call local dispatch to convince him to give us our truck. When he finally gave us the truck, it was nearly on empty and was filled with trash inside. Highly disappointing. Please have this location do better.
Gregory EStaff was rude and mark down the wrong gas amount and I was charge extra. Luckily I took a picture of the gas gauge before returning the U-Haul and currently working with customer service to get my money back. I would not recommend this spot.

Gina GActually, I didn't know there was a full UHaul dealer near Hammer Lane at 7701 Tam O'Shanter Dr . l I would have preferred to leave the trailer there as it was right next to two businesses to which I had to go - I could have saved driving time.
Michael SThe truck was very dirty. Couldn’t see out of the windows. Smelled like smoke in the cab. Only one guy working I had to wait for him to ring others up, it’s a store, more kept coming in. Nice guy but needs more help.
corina fThis location was a little sketchy Stockton is a rough area, and I felt like I was returning the U-Haul to a unsafe location yet the young man who helped me, was phenomenal, resourceful and very kind he was exceptional. Yep the location could probably use security.

When I got there to pick up my reservation, he acted like I was a new customer and had issues getting my info and reservation details. Granted, U-Haul did change my location of pickup at the last moment so it may not be the clerk's fault. The check--in procedure could be improved and make it more seamless.

JOSE UI was charged incorrectly by an extra $40 on the fuel useage. I returned it with same amount. I asked them to correct it and they refused, saying I had to contact U-Haul corporate office. I have pictures of fuel gauge and odometer.
