The Gentleman at that counter was AMAZING!!! I think he was the owner and I would tell him that I greatly apricated the Great Customer Service and the friendly early morning banter!!!

Nothing to say about the location itself. Actually, the personnel were really helpful. However, I want to leave a comment about my overall experience with U-Haul. That was my first time renting a U-Haul, and it was a really bad experience. To make sure everything would go smoothly, I made a reservation 11 days before the pickup date. On the pickup day, at the correct time, I went to the pickup location, and the attendant told me I needed to pick up the trailer in another city, 32 miles away. I drove there, and on the way I kept calling the new pickup location to make sure the trailer would be available. However, the attendant kept asking me to wait or call back in 10 minutes, or said they would call me back, but I continued driving. When I arrived, the attendant called me to say the trailer was not available and recommended that I call customer service. I called them, and a very kind representative told me to pick up the trailer at another location, now 72 miles away from where I was. She also gave me a $100 discount for the inconvenience. I then drove to this third location, but when I arrived, it was closed. I called again and was told that someone was supposed to be there but wasn’t. After waiting several minutes for an answer, they suggested that I pick up the trailer at yet another location—a fourth one—located 116 miles away, basically a two-hour drive. Another representative told me this was the closest option available that day (it was a Saturday), and that more options would only be available on Monday. I needed the trailer on Saturday because my trip was scheduled for Sunday morning. I drove the 116 miles, and when I arrived at the new location, it was literally in the middle of nowhere—a very strange place with nothing around. I called the person who was supposed to meet me with the trailer, and he sent me the “real” location, which was another 7 miles ahead. Finally, I got there. The attendant was very friendly, and I was finally able to pick up the trailer. The rent also included an Appliance Dolly, but it was not available in that location. I was supposed to pick it up at 10:30 a.m., but I didn’t get it until 4:00 p.m. I wasted a lot of time, drove more than 300 miles, and all my planning and organization went out the window. What was supposed to be an awesome move turned into a very stressful, exhausting, and potentially dangerous experience. I consider this situation disrespectful and uncaring toward a customer. I will definitely think twice before renting anything from U-Haul again. I was very disappointed. Problems happen and mistakes happen, but what I experienced was negligence.

DAVID CWay to overpriced to rent a car dolly for only 4 hours. Plus was told in the begining it would be 52.78 after taxes. Then at checkout was told it is 75 dollars. Then he informed me that when I brought it back the difference would be refunded back to me. But when I brought it back i was told only 15.29 is being refunded back to me. When I asked why was told that is the difference. Obviously he doesn't know simple math cause that is not the correct difference. Definitely don't plan on doing that again cause I felt like he could've at least have been more clear on the whole situation. Was not a good experience.

RICHARD JI had left my car at this location, and called to let them know I would pick it up later after I drop the van to a specific location in Jackson Tn, a lady picked up and she was so rude on the phone, she kept insisting I was supposed to return the van back to Dyersburg, her male colleague took over an looked my information in the system, only to find out the the lady assumed I was someone else. She surely needs retraining, and talking over a customer is not okay.

TYSHEUNNA Cthe people here were ok but due to the lack of instructions at pick up, we got charged for items that I beleive we should not have been charged with. there was an engine light on and the codes showed that it was the transmission control module - from not communicating to overheating. told the guy and uhaul about it and he said that he was not going to report it, he said "whenever they do the round of maintenance on then they will find it"... I feel sorry for the next guy that has to rent this unit and trailer, there is a short in the lights somewhere.
