Hard to park truck when returning, not a lot of spaces and tight parking lot

I was charged for an extra day when I had the truck back on time. The girl working the location didnt want to check me in when i returned the truck, she said she would get to it later. So she checked the truck in over an hour later which then charged me for another day. This location had bad reviews on google before i rented and i should have listened and went elsewhere.

Small office so doesn't always answer phone and limited equipment. But staff are amazing and go above and beyond.

Teach staff to properly demonstrate how the equipment works. That did not happen and twice I had to call for assistance removing straps and reattaching a vehicle. The person who assisted us the second day explained that the chains needed to be attached to the vehicle as well as the straps. I had no idea the chains needed to be utilized at all. It was very frustrating and wasted about four hours total between the two days getting the vehicle reattached to the dolly/trailer. We were not satisfied with the lack of instruction we received. We were also told we would get a credit for turning the van and trailer over early. We found out later that isn’t the case for one way trips also disappointing.

Didn't have the pads which needed and reserved online. Seems to be a problem with not knowing what's available online vs in store inventory. I have used uhaul many times and have spent thousands on rentals.

We just dropped off the truck after hours. Bad experience with U-Haul movers again. Our $1,000 dresser was damaged due to the mishandling of one of the workers. Is like the younger guys don’t care. The older guy was working really hard. Overall very disappointed with the damage.

I rented truck for 8 hours and was billed for two days. I was told 88 dollars was the charge and would be refunded 5 dollars more than likely due to not using all the mileage. I looked at my bank account was there is a pending charge for an extra 50 on top of the 88 dollars. I’m extremely upset, no explained any extra charges or that if I returned the vehicle after hours it would double bill me. I rented the truck for 8 hours, this was not disclosed by the agent who rented me the vehicle when I picked it up. I want my money refund. This is poor customer service. I have used uhaul for the last 20 years for all my moves and have never experienced anything like this, I will never use uhaul again after this if my money isn’t refunded and i will be sure to let all my friend and family know not use uhaul for moves.

Smooth pickup and return! Also, uHaul didn’t have the dolly I reserved however, Steve was nice enough to loan me his personal dolly which was a really nice dolly. Overall, very pleased.
