rental site not aware that the trailer was not "up to "snuff"...after hooking up...we discovered the lights were not working...had to unhook...different trailer...2nd one okay...just a time consuming...other than that...no problem...staff/associates friendly and helpful...PAUL D.

This location should not be handling UHaul services. I've never had an issue until now. Staff was short and speaking over me when I asked questions. The tank had 1/4 tank of fuel. I asked why so little and the young lady said because the person before, didn't fill it. I voiced that That is why there is an additional fee for refueling and she said UHaul gets the money, not them so I get what is in the tank. The truck made a high revving sound when started and while in park. The sound was terribly louder when the break was pressed. The attendant was called out to parking lot to have her listen to the noise. She said she didn't know why it was doing that. Just then, it started pouring rain and thats when she said she was waiting on a truck but it was late but I could come back in the morning to trade the trucks out. Upon calling at 10 am when the office opened, Mike said they don't trade trucks and I had to contact customer service. I asked why I was told to go in if they didn't have a replacement and he He also said that it was nit the young lady's responsibility to trade out the truck. I asked for the number but he said he didn't have it and I had to look up my paperwork. I spent nearly 3 hours on the phone, trying to reach someone about the condition of the truck, and a refund, since I wasn't able to use it.Still have not been helped. Upon finally getting the truck back to the office at 25 mph, I noted I had only put on 7 miles from the office, home and back. I asked for a replacement and was not helped. The woman told the young lady denies having ever told me to come back for the other truck & I would be charged the full day since I brought it back so late. I paid for 2 days and 100 miles and even asked to rent the van that was in their lot but they refused. They told me they were closed, gave me a hard time about being inside their office when they close at 2pm. It was only 1:50pm when I arrived. I was told that they have things to do and needed to close up. I said I was also inconvenienced and needed this matter fixed. The man then told me they don't handle these things so they don't have to do the paperwork. I was told to check in the vehicle myself and contact customer service. I finally reached roadside, only to be hung up on when trying to explain the problem.Naomi P.
