I had a fantastic experience renting a U-Haul from Clifford Auto Center. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and made the pickup process quick and easy. The truck was clean, in great condition, and ready to go right on schedule. What really stood out was how smooth the drop-off process was as well. Clifford Auto Center made returning the vehicle stress-free, with clear instructions and a convenient setup. The staff were just as helpful and courteous when I brought the truck back, which really rounded out a positive experience. I cannot think of anything that would need be improved at this location.

Carl BHave the inspection of the equipment done more thoroughly. We traveled to TN from PA with a bald tire that had a broken cord in it. I was afraid that I would have a blowout or something worse and get into an accident the whole way, it was very nerve racking for my wife and I. The trailer swayed an awfully lot the whole way. This was the third time renting a trailer from you and have not had any problems before.

Jeffrey KThe first agent made a reservation to a location that didn't have any trucks available like zero, the second made a reservation for the wrong time, and the guy there didn't honor the price, added extra cost and wound up charging me double what i was quoted, charged my card without any discussion and refused to refund me after pushing my account over drawn telling me the truck is already paid take it or leave it, didn't give me enough miles, only gave me 38 miles when the pick up location to my house is 17.3 miles and my house to the new place is 30.7 miles in the other direction meaning i would of been fined, when i complained they told me they would let the district manager know of my experience and they would get back to me and help out in getting my money back i was ignored instead , never going with this scam of a company again

edward kWhen I reserve a certain size truck I expect that size truck not smaller. You should know your inventory. Mud all over inside of truck much smaller than the one I reserved. Sexist jokes aimed at my wife. Not to mention poor customer service from the 1800 number.

I had a little trouble with ID verification, but a quick phone call to an agent - with absolutely no wait - fixed it in a matter of seconds. The cell reception isn’t good at this rural location, which was the cause of the only problems I had, really. The customer service was very pleasant all around - on the phone and at the location. Overall a great experience.
Christopher JDropped trailer off after hours. Lots of room and easy to do. This was a secondary drop off location as my first choice in White Plains NY was not accepting trailer drop-offs. This was very disappointing.

Vanessa SI made a previous reservation at another location: Shamrock Auto Collision in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. When I arrived to pick up my reserved vehicle, the location was CLOSED! Not only that but the type of vehicle I reserved wasn't even on site. I was never notified. Because I was moving and was on a tight schedule, I was forced to look elsewhere. There were NO other locations in the area that had the vehicle I needed nor the type of reservation. This reservation cost me HUNDREDS of dollars more because of it and U-Haul offered $50 to say "sorry". Not only that, when the vehicle was returned, the $50 "sorry" wasn't even on the receipt and I never got my $50. I'm so incredibly displeased with U-Haul. It is not the fault of Clifford Auto Center; they did the best they could. Shamrock Auto Collision and U-Haul SCREWED ME OVER! I'd give ZERO stars if I could.
BEEW IThey took an extra 151 dollars no explanation bounced my checking account caused me a ton of trouble 5 days before Christmas couldn't buy a single thing for my 4 yr old bad enough I had to move 2 weeks before Christmas uhaul ruined our Christmas even more.

I scheduled my pickup a month before the date of my move, during the week of my move I was called twice and my reservation was changed against my wishes. I was forced to drive fifty extra miles round trip because of the incompetence of U-Haul. I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone and I will actively work to convince my friends to use a different company. Your service was awful.

BRAD GThe pick up location and help were very good. But this was probably the most beat up truck we have rented so far, inside and out. The windows and inside of the cab were not clean so that we had to do on our own. Also we were charged extra for mileage because we were 7 or 8 miles over when our pick up location was 25 miles away from us to start with. Not sure if that's very fair after losing 25 miles before we start our trip.
