The truck had issues..It would not go into gear and it was very scary. It said a comfortable ride, it was the worse. Both our backs are out and I believe my rib was cracked it was so shaky and rough...Felt like no shocks. Very unhappy. Only U Haul I ever used where I had a medical problem afterwards. This truck should be taken off the fleet at once, very bad very dangerous.david C.

The online check in/return service is not convenient at all and information requested was redundant. We wasted 30+ minutes attempting to check in online because we didn't want to wait for office hours, but I took so long that the office was open and. Our experience was not good at a?l and I can't really blame it on the location but Uhaul in general. The lady at the desk was so helpful. But the process to check-in online is a nightmare. The website is awful and too forever. Then when we finally got our truck ,driving down the road it was in terrible running condition (NO THanKS TO WHOMEVER RENTED IT BEFORE IS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPORTED) The one and only other 20' truck had to be checked in, 1 1/2 hrs later we were on our way. Again, the lady at the desk was so very helpful. And did the best she could. But I would be very reluctant to rent anything from a business with such a check-in and checkout system.Herman K.

I requested a different drop off location closer to home as originally requested via my online registration and was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the new drop off location. I even happened to drop my 7 to 4 pin adapter for my vehicle at the drop off location and received a phone call from the return location attendant the following day providing me the ability to retrieve my adapter from the location. Amazing service from the new drop off location, will definitely recommend.Nicholas G.

The reservation process was terrible. The confirmation we received was wrong. Corporate said they'd fix it & they didn't. It took over a half an hour when we were picking up to fix itDavid N.
After 32 years in the same home, my wife and I moved up to Hemlock Farms. One of the few transactions that went super smooth without a glitch was dealing with Christina up at Lords Valley Climate Control Self Storage. The issue I had was on my return. I originally planned to return the trailer in Buffalo on a one way. The people at u-haul asked if it would be possible to bring it back to the PA site. I agreed it was promised as two days and it would be cheaper for me and they would get the equipment back to rent again. When I got back they charged me 3 days! That was not what was agreed at time of rent. I told them I would not be able to get it back until Saturday. I top of that I now had an additional 100 miles on my car as it is 50 miles from my house (Drop off and back home). I should get a refund of one day on the rental.Margaret P.

Have your system know what talking about told me a location that we went and they do not have U Hauls then we went to another PoconoMtn Mini Storage they were closed but went back another day and they had trailer we needed but said we had to call U Haul we did no one seems to know how to help us for a close location and sent us to Lords Valley which I never heard of. I was on phone multiple times for about six hours to rent a trailer. What a run around. Really was out of way for us!Dennis E.

I had an absolutely TERRIBLE Uhaul experience. I would not recommend Uhaul anything to anyone. They screwed up my reservation. They screwed up the equipment, almost left me stranded, gave me the only option which was to drive a 26' truck. I have SEVERE anxiety and drive a compact. Are you kidding me. Even this is a waste of time I'm going to call the better business bureau.Matthew G.

Christina, the receptionist was extremely helpful,friendly and efficient. Her interpersonal skills were very much appreciated. We had the U-Haul scheduled for 9 am with movers waiting at 2 locations and the day was planned with the utmost efficiency. The U-Haul did not show up at the location until 10.30. Which put all of us an hour and a half behind schedule. We had no choice but to wait the 90 minutes. I was paying 5 people by the hour and the $50 credit did not make a dent in what the delay cost me in labor. May I suggest that you revamp your policy to assure that this type of a muck up never happens to anyone else.Annette H.

The location I used was absolutely running a scam. I explained that I needed a bigger truck multiple times and they "did not have one available" yet when I picked up and dropped off the 10 foot truck I used there were 4 larger vehicles each time, in the same spots. This caused me to make multiple trips and rack up high mileage. I also cleaned the vehicle 5 minutes before returning it and double checked it before I left yet they still charged me a $25 cleaning fee. When I questioned them, they insisted it needed to be swept out even though I know for a fact it did not. The staff were rude not helpful whatsoever. This experience has tainted my view of uhaul as a company and I will be sure to let anyone considering uhaul know that they will be better served somewhere else.Noelle T.
