I highly recommend Don Cobb and he deserves recognition for his outstanding service to our community

I'm very happy with Greg the regional manager for reaching out and agreeing to reverse my contract and refund my money. To have this happen in the middle of a move added a significant amount of stress to an already stressful time, especially before the holidays.

Kerime T.I booked online. When I got to the place someone else was trying to book the only truck they had and I was not happy. I paid $7 for a utility cart and never got one as they didn't have one. If things aren't available at sights it should not be offered. I was charged the $7 and they were unable to take it off my bill so tip me to by and pick up the $7 but I live out of state.

William C.I rented a 15' box truck for 0900 pick up. They didn't have a single vehicle when I arrived. @1030 a u haul van showed up. I rented that one. I don't know how a business will let you reserve something that isant even there.
Andrew M.This was a frustrating rental. I was originally scheduled to pick up a 4x8 trailer at Riverside Ave U-Haul. However the trailer scheduled for me never returned. The staff indicated my reservation was re-directed to cobb automotive in St Albans VT, 25 miles north of me. The clerk said my reservation had been updated at 10:30 a.m. I never received any notification of this change. This put me way behind on my scheduled move. I realize there is a posting for this possibility. I was also fortunate enough to have arrived 10 minutes before they were scheduled to close.......what if I hadn't arrived in time, with no notice of the change. Staff at Cobb Automotive were very accommodating to me. Lisa is a star.
Mark W.The u haul company itself is a joke, churched my card the day I picked up instead of the day I dropped off so they knew how many days to charge for which left me short and had to sell a personal item to pay for gas to get it back and when talking you haul they said that was a personal choice. So I said would you have rather me leave it on the side of the road and they replied with there would have been additional charges. Nothing wrong with don where I picked up just unhauls customer service. Never again and will recommend Penske
Robert M.I was billed for 2 days. That was what it was reserved for by my brother in law, but when I picked it up and changed it to my credit card I explained it was for one day. I was given no paperwork at all, and no email was sent as I was told. I'm still fighting to get my payment refunded for the second day. I turned it in in less than 24 hrs.

Sean M.Cobb Auto was great--very helpful. We did have a problem en route--a flat tire (which turned out was unrepairable and had to be repalaced. Stopped at the U-Haul in Pittsfield, MA and were very rudely told to call the U-Haul roadside emergency. Called that number and spent about 45 minutes on hold and going through your automated system ("for x, press 1; for y press 2, etc., etc), which no one with half a brain could call "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (again after 45 minutes), only to be told that it sounded like we were "safe" and in no danger" and then hung up on. I can't begin to tell you how to improve your customer service if you really believe that any aspect of my experience was in any way "customer service".
larry B.Rented uhaul sunday 1/17. Ended up stuck in unplowed lot. Ended up calling roadside assistance. I did get it out but wasted two hours in lot. Overall its ok but i wasn't happy i got stuck for two hours. Cant complain about roadside assistance though

I was trying to pick up and drop off in Burlington but was last minute routed to St. Albans. Although not convenient, Cobb Auto was terrific. The owner did everything he could to make my transaction positive. He succeeded.
Edward S.The gentleman never went out to inspect the truck. He rented it to me with the wrong mileage and gas tank reading. Luckily I took a picture of the odometer before I left. So I didn't get charged the extra 60 bucks. Overall the truck was in good shape .The customer service wasn't amazing.

sandra G.all the u hauls are parked off in the grass. Plus that soil was a bit saturated and tires were sinking into the ground so i didn't park off the gravel. Also i don't think i check in the vehicle correctly online through the app.

JOSE V G.I would recommend this location because their hours are better than the other place in town. The truck compartment was not cleaned out and had cigarette butts, bottle caps, and candy wrappers scattered about. It reeked like an ashtray. When I went to clean it I also discovered dried traces of liquid that had been spilled all about. I had to mop the floor in order to use the truck. Disgusting. It also took 20 minutes for me to get any service using the mobile app to sign the truck out. Not impressive.

I'm not a fan of Cobbs so I wish I could have picked the van up a few miles down the road where UHauls are available. The van drove real smoothly though. I did have a good experience driving the van to and from Florida. And in only 72 hours.

TONY G.Over charged by almost $50 - what is the problem with UHaul ? Never had this issue in the past, checked it in online- filled tank and was still charged for gas, extra days charges, something is definitely wrong with uHaul. Will go to enterprise next time I need a rental.
