Had to 1/2hour to get the vehicle. The operator of the site could not get the drop off box lock open as it was damaged.

The person in charge for UHaul matters was never there and couldn't be reached, then I get an email with a fuel surcharge for 24 lt of fuel worth $51.74 and I dropped the vehicle off with more fuel in it than what was in it when I picked it up. I went back to Cobden Grocery and of course the person for UHaul can't be reached so a store staff gives me a 1 800 number to call. I called Val in Eganville instead and she said not to call that number, she gave me customer service number instead. Thank you very much Val telling me to take the pictures and by calling customer service it ended up solving the surcharge for me. When I called that number and spoke with Angelia, she was very pleasant and professional and gave me an email address to send the pictures and she passed my case onto Jonathan, her manager. While he read my story and seen the pictures, he then removed the promissory note off of my account and he apologized for my inconvenience. Thank you Jonathan, Angelia and Val.
Dan SI very exasperating and unpleasant experience
brad bI had book a uhaul gor 12 pm. I figured i was booking it, out a credit card down so everything was OK. The women at the grocery mart said I was late multiple times. Served other customers while texting the owner and dealer of the hauls. I had to arrange a friend who has a child under one to was my 2nd drivers child and mine. So get 3 babies under one arranged was a challenge. I didn't think to call, no one had called or informed me. We got there at 1:30pm and didn't receive the keys until and hour lady. The lady at the counter who said she had nothing to do with it. After asking her serval time to call him before and after we walked out to get scones while we waited for a reply. After simply just uploading my license and giving him 2 phone numbers, this lady gave us the keys. Wouldn't not recommended but when your desperate as I was and traveled an hour for the vehicle itself it was just the only choice at the time.

Kimberly kThe young woman was very helpful , suggested I take a photo of the fuel gauge and to be sure to lock the truck , ask how the trip went and wanted to know if there were any problems with the vehicle ? Just seemed genuinely conserned . The truck ran very well once it had a load in it . I left it in a very clean state for the next person including the windows . The 6 blankets and commercial Dolly were left in the back . Cam Snell
CAMERON SHey, so this guy at the location had no idea what he was doing. In fact, the district manager, Justin Abraham (employee number 1258746), had to walk him through everything. I arrived at 9:45 am for a simple drop-off, but it took until 10:35 am. I even had to help the U-Haul guy at the store complete the checklist because he didn't understand Justin's instructions.
