My vehicle only had a quarter tank of fuel when I received it and I was not compensated for the difference (I returned it full). I left a message at a 1-800 number with my reservation # regarding the fuel issue with no response. The questions and concerns link sent to me on my transaction receipt did not work. (kept getting an undeliverable pop up).

Vehicle was dirty both inside and out. Staff were not very familiar when ask if the truck had snow tires for my trip to BC which requires snow tires by law. Staff stated the vehicle had snow tires which it did not. The mileage for my trip was over calculated ending up paying more for the vehicle than required.
Jerrold HI went to cold shot a day before the rental to make sure I do have access to the truck before they open(they have a key box system) the receptionist said everything is OK and they can’t give me the key before the rental period starts. my rental starts at 8 AM but the location opens at 10 AM. when I got there by 8 AM I got to simple message that my truck is not available for this time and I had to wait for two hours. I tried to get a rental truck somewhere else within 50 km around Edmonton but no rental available the receptionist at Cold Shot fooled me on purpose. They didn’t wanna give me the key for the gate. I couldn’t perform the move on time because of their stupidity. this location doesn’t care at all for Uhaul customers. Also the truck cabin and the truck was dirty. Coffee split out all over the seats. Unacceptable. I will never go to that location again when I gave the truck back I asked the receptionist why they did all this to me and he couldn’t explain the issue at all be aware.
Stephan KThe vehicle was in a rougher neighborhood then expected, I had a bum staring at me while trying to unlock and inspect vehicle. The keys were at least easy to find. I had to basically skip my inspection to get out of there. The mileage on the truck was terrible, it averaged 30l/100km with a fairly empty load on the highway and I wasnt speeding.
Brendan RI booked the first time at different location and after two days U-Haul Stoney plain called me to tell me that I cannot have the truck I booked. So frustrating to hear that when the next day I had to move out. Plus the rudeness of the person that called she did another booking for a van that it would be useless to me to do three runs when I could do it with one run. Very disappointed. Luckily the store i first book I’ll give maximum rate of being helpful and arrange this location a bit far but I had to spend more km and bring it back to the same location.
Boban NI booked months in advance for a location very close to home and the day before I was to pick up I received a message to pick up at another location. This was totally inconvenient for me … thus why I had booked months in advance.

Robert SThe unit was given to us with a flat tire. We had to take it to a gas station, full of our things, with a completely flat tire to fill it with gas on our own time. I know our rental was last minute, but the vehicle I am paying to rent needs to have at least the basic level of function.
