Russell S.Inept, rude, if these people are licensed by U-Haul, their license should be revoked. Also, they were party to what I consider to be an unlawful extortion by U-Haul. I currently have a claim open. If I take this to court they will most also certainly be named in a civil claims lawsuit for extortion and defamation of character.

Francis E.the initial reservation a=was a 15 footer to be picked up in Weimar, only to be told the day before we had to go 1.25 hours the other direction of travel to Sacramento for pick up at 9 am. but when got there, was told it not ready till 1 30 p . (NOT ACCEPTABLE) had to downsize to a 10 footer - no ramp , but got to pick up in Colfax (home town) problem was we left there to go to sacramento, now had to drive back 1.25 hours just to start where we were initially starting from ( WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND PISS POOR PERFORMANCE OF UHAUL ITSELF. COLFAX FARM AND FEDD _ AWESOME--wish i knew i could have started there from the start, (this UHAUL problem costs of 3 hours of time and anxiety, and wants me to look for another company next time

James G.I just had a HORRIBLE experience with U-Haul. I don't know if the issue had to do with a specific location or with people higher up the business ladder. I have used U-Haul in the past and never had an issue, but I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Read on if you are interested in the story... I picked my tow dolly up in Oregon and on my contact it stated that I was supposed to return it to my hometown in California. When I got home and went to return the dolly to the location WRITTEN ON MY CONTRACT, they said "sorry, you have to return the dolly to a different location". This other location is quite a ways away from where I live and I had to miss half a day of work AND pay my friend who's truck I was borrowing to help me get the thing returned. U-Haul changed the drop off location without letting me know or checking to see if that would work for me and it ended up costing me a lot of money in missed work and paying my friend with the truck. I spent over THREE hours on the phone with U-Haul "customer service" and they did absolutely nothing to help me out. I asked many times if they could please honor the contact that I agreed to when I picked up the dolly (return it to the location stated on the contract) or refund me for the dolly. U-Haul FORCED me to return the dolly to a completely different location from what I had agreed to on my contact which I believe is completely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service/care. They did tell me that I could return it wherever I wanted, but I would be CHARGED an additional fee for a "wrong drop-off location". I am really disappointed by this and I think it is unfortunate that there are not many other moving companies out there. Please use caution when renting from U-Haul and I hope you can avoid a situation like mine.
