I had to do the mobile check in and check out since the facility was closed. But the truck was there waiting for me. Everything was wonderful with the Columbia self Storage in Tuckerton, NJ. But the Mobil U-Haul app needs to be made more user friendly and quicker. By the time I was checking the truck back in - my phone was running out of charge! The process is too long. Take forever to process all the numerous pictures. And approval took even longer!!! This was a big pain!!! I think I would rather go to a counter, but not if they are not open!! Improvement is needed on the app!! It has to be easier!

Joanne TI dropped off the rental after hours & I had to return the next business day because I left a personal item in the vehicle. I was greeted by a kind & friendly woman who took the time to help me even though she was very busy doing something else.

Thought the whole “rent a uhaul” experience was going to be a headache but it was actually a nice experience! Will highly recommend to anyone needing a uhaul.

walter bMy reservation was for the Wanna Window Inc 166 S Main St Manahawkin, NJ 08050 However, actual drop off location was Columbia Self Storage Tuckerton 735 Rte 9 N Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08087 I would suggest reviewing these change with customer when picking up the truck. Also, it would be helpful to have more sites with later Saturday hours for drop off.
PETER FI turned this truck In the same day. Didn’t have it for the 2 days I paid for and they still charged me $15 for going over the mileage. Not good business. Should have waved that fee since they could turn it around and rent it.
Keith WI ordered online and ordered rental of furniture dolly, hand cart, and 10 blankets. I got there and there was no dolly handcart or blankets so when I got to SC all my furniture was damaged banging around in the truck. I was called 5 times to try to change the size truck and time of pick up. very frustrating

Stephen LI was charged for a second day and I did not have it a whole second day. I called in that I would be late and the lady on the phone said I would not be charged. But I was charged for a whole second day. Looks like I paid 2 insurance bills and 2 flat tax bills of 10$. Can’t really tell because the bill was not detailed. Now I’m supposed to wait a couple days for an action file to be reviewed! Why can’t someone review it now when I called? Never heard of a business that operates like this. Worst experience!

Agris PThe person who checked me in was not professional at all. She did not check-in my truck right away and when I had a question about making sure that it was the right site. She read my paperwork and said that everything was okay when it was not. The site where I was supposed to return my U-Haul truck at contacted me and asked me did I drop off the truck. I told them where I dropped it off at and they tried to get in contact with the place and the personnel who was supposed to check me in. Did not pick up the phone because she said she was in a conference call and never called them back. It is a good thing that I was nearby the U-Haul place so that I could go there and talk to the woman and tell her to check-in the truck while I was still on the phone with the other U-Haul place where I was actually supposed to drop it off at. The situation was handled. But I fear that if I did not go down there in person. I would have had to pay more money for the personnel not checking in my truck on time and it being the wrong site. But I didn't thank goodness.
Kanesha SImprove your app. I reserved the truck a week prior. The day that I was there to check it out are used your app and ended up having to call in because it would not allow me to finalize. I sat for over 45 minutes in a parking lot while speaking with your customer service trying to resolve the issue. What is the sense of having the application if it is not going to function properly

Sharon SThe self service pick up did not work properly and I waited outside for over and hour. The support phone number had me on hold for 40 minutes. Then the beginning milage was wrong and the app wouldn't accept my appeal. Finally Jennifer was able to help me when the store opened. Thank you for fixing the situation. I still would not recommend the self service option.

Douglas Rover charged me. rented for one day. they charged for 2 days. refused to issue credit and said to call u haul its not there problem ..Great service will not use them again .J.B

Rich GThe facility was located right on US Route 9 and was easy to get into from the north or southbound direction. The facility was very clean. I was greeted in the parking lot by a very knowledgeable and polite staff member who assisted me with the close out process and answered all my questions.

Louis MThe person working the front desk had absolutely no idea what was going on. Did not know I had a reservation. She did not know how to make a copy of my license, had no idea which uhaul was mine("it matches the key go find it"), and could not answer a single one of my questions about the uhaul. I suggest hiring competent people from now on.
