The battery in the truck was bad. The truck started slow but I believe started on the first try, so I didn't think anything of it. I drove to my house and parked for about 5 hours. When I tried to start it the truck would not start. I jumped it and was able to get our move done but I left the truck running during loading and unloading. I parked the truck overnight and it did start the next morning. When I returned the truck the agent had trouble starting it to check the mileage. On a good note, when I picked up the truck I noticed the gas gauge was lower than indicated on the contract. I pointed this out to the agent and she said she would note it and not to worry about bringing it back where the contract noted it should be.
STANTON VWhen I first signed off for my rental I was made aware I would get a discounted rate for using less miles so I tried my best to use less miles and returned the truck only using 1/4 of my total allowed miles. I was charged for the full amount of miles on the contract. It took countless attempts to get ahold of the manager to discuss my receipt and countless phone calls to U-Haul corporate. In the end I had a discussion with the manager who quite literally threatened to charge me more for my U-Haul if I continued to question the receipt. Truly a horrible experience and I do not recommend.

RANDAL PGot what I needed. This is a storage facility not a full Uhaul rental site so it has minimum Uhaul selection. But they know what they were doing and my rental went smoothly. So good on them!
JACK KI was given a location to pick up the vehicle, and when I arrived I was told it was at a different location. I was given that address, but if I didn't have a GPS I never would have found it because the office was attached to another business and there was no visible signage from the street that the office was there until you turned into the parking lot. As for the vehicle, the seatbelt was inoperable.
