The front driver door had some difficulties. It would not always lock. Also there’s a crack in the windshield, on the passenger side. Otherwise, the van was very nice.
Jennifer HWhen i went to retrieve keys they were the wrong set. Luckily someone else was checking out their truck and also had the wrong g keys. There were only 2 key boxes. This could of went badly if the other customer had not been thete.
Donald RI picked up the truck at Takoma Park at 1pm for 24h but returned the truck early at 9pm the same day, unfortunately I was over charged additional $20 for “after hours fees” which doesn’t make sense to me.

TRICIA JNot only was the place gross, the trailer was dirty. We rented it on a Friday at 4:30pm we were told we had until Saturday at 4:30 pm to return it. We did return it at 4:30 on Saturday, we even took pictures with a time stamp. Come Monday I get a after hours charge because the location closed that day at 2pm. Nobody told us we had to have it back during business hours. We had originally picked a different location, then was routed to a place 20 miles from our house in the opposite direction of where we were going. Called them said that didnt work for us, they found a place closer and again this is when we were reassured we had 24hrs. The person at the store never told us we had to have it back before they closed either. The entire process was a pain and we will not be doing business again with UHaul.
Mary DThe owner of the establishment where I rented from is TOP NOTCH. This is not the first time I have used this location. The young lady that assisted me in my rental this time was very kind, polite, and courteous. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future, if needed.

HASSEN KApp crashed multiple times as I was trying to get check in and get the keys. Truck was dirty. Smelled like a dog, window was left down, we hard a storm the day before. Seat, driver door and floor were wet.
Ivan PI was charged a $15.00 cleaning fee without being told. It just appeared on my credit card. The trailer was not dirty at all. I called yesterday to dispute this charge. No one answered. I left a message and have not received a call back. I demand to see evidence of WHY the cleaning fee or refund this undue charge.

WILLIAM PThe equipment was not available at this location. We then had to wait for someone to call us and tell us to go to another location. When we got to that location, the door was locked and no one was there. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone for 20 minutes. I started a chat to try and get help and was told I’d hear back in about 3 business days. After we dropped the truck off, we got charged extra miles. The extra miles were due to us having to switch locations due to lack of inventory and poor communication. It was a terrible experience. Also, U-haul over estimates the gas you need and won’t give money back if the truck has more gas than when started, which was only 1/4 tank. Terrible.

Tonya YThe representative showed up drunk (Alisaliss). The rental was scheduled for 24 hours. After I return the truck the next day, 10 minutes before the rental place open, I parked the truck in an open parking lot in the front, due to the previous lot being occupied by another vehicle. We took vid & pictures and waited untill after 11 and the rep was not there. So, we left and place the key in the drop box. I received my receipt in the email and was over charged. My wife and I called multiple times, before the rep finally pick up the phone. In our asking for explanation of the overcharge, the rep was very unprofessional and threatened to charge the cards on file more money. She was highly unprofessional. Obviously stating that "she doesn't care. By far, this is the worst service I have received when dealing with a representative. To show up to inebriated and proceeded to overcharge because she doesn't quite seem to remember what happened the day after is very concerning. Then threatened to overcharged when asked to explain the reason behind the charges, is very scary.

Latonya EWhen a truck is returned, be sure to carefully inspect for more than debris. Some people are leaving behind roaches and fleas.

Leonard MTruck was as presented, clean and serviceable. One thing I'd recommend is NOT using Armor All type products on the floor mats and step up. I slipped getting in the first time and fell backwards off of the truck. No injury beyond my pride.
John FMiss Carolyn is truly amazing. Her knowledge, her support, her enthusiasm, was instrumental in my renting a uhaul from that location. In the future, I will most definitely go back there first. I simply can not say enough good things about Miss Carolyn. I wish more companies had someone like her.
