The location smelled horrible the representative didn't hook the trailer up and instructed me to amd gave me misinformation about dropping the trailer off at a different location in town which I wanted to do at another location 6 miles from the location I picked the trailer up fromCheryl C.

We never received a PIN in order to pick up our vehicle prior to the location opening. We were supposed to pick up at 8 am and the location didn't open until 9 am. This poor communication cost us time and money.Alan M.

White Plains wasn't my original pick up location. Originally, my pick up place was Chester, MD, the day before pick up I received call indicating my new pick up was Edgewater, MD. The day of pick up I go to Edgewater/BP gas station location to pick up and was advised the truck wasn't there and he couldn't help us period. We called customer service and then escalated higher. I lost 3-4 hours of moving time and paid movers due to UHAULS inadequate moving process. Bottom line you make a reservation to pick up truck, but you are unlikely not to have a truck at pick up day, and then it's your responsibility to find another truck. Not a good way to run a business but understand why folks continue to use the company as the rental prices are budget friendly for folks on a tight budget. Good luck, you'll need it!Jennifer C.

Rental location was great! Website reservation not so much. Wanted to rent a tow dolly and the website made me do a one way rental and would allow me to return the dolly at the same location I picked it up. So of coarse the rental cost a lot more. Rental location was able to adjust the rental to make it a local rental instead of a one way rental but they shouldn't have had to do that.NEVIN B.

It was difficult to return the truck due to the heavy traffic entering the Crab restaurant that is adjacent to the self storage office. My other concern was where to park the truck. It was relatively impossible to locate where after hour trucks returns should parked. Signage with clear instructions or a post on U haul's website would be very helpful in assisting customers when the business is closed. Thank you.Kimberly D.
