Was charged way to much for mileage and even left extra gas in the vehicle and it was delivered to me full of mud in drivers area and back.

We used the electronic check in to return as the business was closed. I appreciate that option.
Truck didn't have a dolly in it. I was charged for it but never got one.
Again, when dropping off the equipment, we gave the address to uhaul as to where we would be dropping it off. When we arrived to return the truck, we were told that "you were supposed to take it back to a different location." A place that we had no knowledge of the location. We specifically told uhaul where we would be dropping it off, they IGNORED every instruction and request, and did whatever they pleased. Very lacking in customer service, for being a customer service based business!!

Both of the gentlemen that I spoke to were very helpfull
I used online and phone reservations and every time I spoke with someone I got a different answer. I got to my place of pick up which was suppose to be a 24/7 location and it was not. Thank goodness I spoke with an employee who fixed the situation. I was almost 600 miles from home and almost didn't get the truck I reserved.

The 2 wheel dolly I rented kept dropping the left hand ramp. Found the retaining lock in disrepair. Dolly is only good for pulling because it is set up like a hay wagon. You can't back up anything. Poor engineering on Uhauls part. Horrible experience overall.

Everything was fine
When I picked the truck up I was given a price and told I would receive part of my deposit back. I ask if the miles I was driving would affect my deposit and I was told no. Upon returning the truck I was told I owed more money than the $100 deposit I had left that morning. If I owe something I will gladly pay it but if I'm told a certain price then I expect that to be the price I should pay. I hAve to rent a truck again in 2 -3 weeks and after that experience I will look at renting a truck from another company.

When you quote a rate out cost out the door you should stand by that quote. I was quoted $829., made the arrangements for the move, and I drive from Jacksonville, FL to Morristown, TN and was given an entirely different rate. Shame on UHaul. I rent and haul stuff many times a year. Twice in the last 2 years from UHaul. Last experience was great. This time I was really dissatisfied. I quote to my customers based on cost. I never change my quotes. I feel like a reputable Company should stand by theirs as well. I did not need extra days or mileage, just the price quoted. Nancy DeSoto 904-864-1677

They lied about the gas level, the manager (Troy) is rude and uses fowl language. When I inquired as to why I was charged for gas when the truck was returned with more gas than it had upon pickup, he told me to come get that God d**m truck off his property that it was more trouble than its worth. He cussed me repeatedly all because I inquired about the gas charge. Then I received an email from the owner telling me if I want accurate service and to avoid any confusion on my part that in the future I should return the truck during business hours. When in reality, I was told by the uhaul rep to return the truck to that location even though they were closed. So no I will probably not rent from haul again due to all this bull carp I had to endure.
Everything was excellent. Scott had everything ready for us on pick up day. We even rented additional equipment. Would recommend them to friends and family. Thanks. Darlene

I was scheduled to pick my UHAUL up at 8 and the rep did not get to the shop till about 8:30. Areas in Morristown, TN are prone to being "on time" in terms of the South time, but not clock time! Frustrating!
