First he gave the 26' truck I had reserved away right before I came. Admitted he made a mistake and told me he would give me the 20' truck and a 6x12 trailer for the same price. Then after I returned everything the same day, he charged me an extra $60 for the trailerJason P.

The guy at the U-Haul drop-off also had a storage unit facility which was nice he was very nice very polite when I found out we were moving from Groveport Ohio down here to Louisa Kentucky he be offered as the storage unit told him what we had he said told us the storage unit size would probably need her he was very knowledgeable he was very very nice I can't say no no nothing bad about him at all these Lots in facilities were clean a storage unit was clean very very nice guyjeffery W.

The truck was infested with cockroaches and the cab had dried stains all over it.Adam S.
Call ahead of time to make sure pick-up location has your truck, reserved 26' truck 5 weeks in advance, received confirmation. Three days before move, called to double check, truck already reserved by someone else 6 months earlier. U-Haul reservation line informed me my location (NAPA/Salyersville, Ky.) only receives one 26' truck. Crazy! What good is a confirmation? Just beware. Closest location with truck one hour away, one way. So 2 additional hours to my 3-hour move, plus additional gas. The Louisa, Ky. location/owner was great, gave me extra miles (new location exceeded allowed mileage).Debbie T.

When a customer reserves a truck a month in advance it should be available at the time and pickup location that is wanted not half a day later and 30 miles away. This is very inconvenient when you are moving one way and makes the whole reservation process extremely pointless. This doesn't pertain to the specific location this is a Uhaul problem.William C.

The size truck I requested was not available at closer locations. I had to travel 30 miles to this pickup location. The agent was very friendly and helpful. He gave me additional miles to cover the extra distance.James Y.

The first truck that was given me was awful. I drove it about 10 miles & it was shaking so bad it was difficult to drive. I returned the truck and they gave me another truck that was fine. I had reserve 24 blankets which he did not have, so I had stop at another U-haul dealer to pick those up. Had to drive extra miles and you charged me for mileage & fuel. â€œNot right â€œ!!Patrick H.

Make a better corporate plan to move assets from areas with overstock to areas where equipment is needed. Maintain an adequate inventory of equipment at all locations, especially ones that are remote. Customers don't want to have to drive and pay for mileage that is not needed.Matthew F.

Pick up was for 2pm. Called location to be sure of where they are located, no answer. So drove to location and it was 2:30pm and it was closed with a sign on door to call another number. Once person came to pickup location, I told him I was to get a discount because I was dropping off at an alternate location. He said he knew nothing of this and charged me more. I then had to call back the Uhaul 800 number and they took the difference off my bill.Susan S.

The owner at this location went above and beyond for us! My husband accidentally locked his wallet in the truck at this drop-off location - after he put the key in the lock box! Thankfully the owner called us right back after leaving a message and drive to the location to let us back into the truck. Huge disaster averted!WILLIAM P.
