WAYNE JTrucks alignment was off and pulling to the left. The engine itself didn't sound healthy and the engine cover was coming off while driving around. I've used uhaul many times and this was by far the worst truck ever.

Lisa QThis was a complete nightmare. I reserved a 20 footer a month in advance at the North Main St. Angels Camp, CA location. Immediately the system rerouted me to Sonora which would add 2 hours to our trip. I called Sonora Uhaul, they said they can't do anything about it and to call Angels Camp. I call Angels Camp, the woman on the phone says okay we have the reservation changed to Angels Camp and we will make sure to have a 20 footer for you on that day. I called Angels Camp two weeks later to verify that we were in Angels Camp & would have the 20 footer available. This time a man answered, he said, oh the address is not right on my end, let me call you back. He never called back. I called a few days later, a different woman answered this time. She told me, oh we cannot get a 20 footer here. I said, I was told originally that you could get a 20 footer at this location. She said, call me back in an hour. I called her back, she said you have to call Uhaul to have the location changed. So I called Uhaul, and had the location manager change my location back to Angels Camp. I call the Angels Camp location again and tell her the location is changed. She says, okay she is going to call a different person that organizes where the trucks go and for me to call her back next Wednesday. This was a Friday and we were moving the following Saturday. I've been trying to deal with this for almost a month now. I call Wednesday, the man answers again and says yup we have a 20 footer for you this Saturday & if not, a 15 footer will be available. I said okay great! The day before my location is changed to Sonora again! I receive a call from Uhaul confirming my appointment but in Angels Camp. I call the Uhaul number back, the woman says uh oh there is no 15 or 20 footer in Angels camp at all. The only thing they have is a 10 footer. At this point I have no choice but to accept the 10 footer or have nothing at all. So we go Saturday morning to a different Angels Camp location at B-Secured Self Storage to pick up the Uhaul and the manager says, our power was out I can't check out any Uhauls. Another person was sitting there in the same situation as me. The power was back on at this point but the manager said the internet wasn't working. We, the customers were trying to figure out for him how to solve the problem as he was just sitting there dumb struck and not solving the problem. We eventually go back home as we are wasting time and continue to pack. The B-Secured manager calls back and says okay we can check your truck out now. He had us call Uhaul to complete the checkout. I cannot believe as the manager he had not thought of this sooner or right away!! We realize that we can rent a trailer too so we add that on. We needed the 20 footer. Having only the 10 footer & trailer made it so we had to take 3 trips back and forth instead of one. Thats a lot more miles and gas!! Way out of our budget. We had to spend twice as much than we could afford. I would appreciate some form of compensation for the major inconvenience and lack of competence on the Uhaul employees at both Angels Camp locations. The North Main street Angels Camp location then calls us Monday after all this and they cannot find the key. We accidentally put it in the wrong spot because there was no indication as to where to drop it. The guy on the phone says, oh we have two 20 footers today here. I was fuming as we had gone through so much to try to reserve them for the day we needed them and him saying that was completely unnecessary. He said, oh well the people kept them three days longer than they were supposed to. I said I reserved this a month ago and have talked to 7+ people and was guaranteed a 20 footer. This has been a nightmare. And I know I'm not the only one that had a terrible experience.

david dThe employee that handles rentals needs a lot better training. It took forever to get the truck. The gas gauge was wrong. It was 1/4 tanks but they claimed 3/8. The truck was insanely dirty on the outside. It took forever to check the truck back in. It would be much better and faster for users that want to just checkout with the app.

Gregg MThe location was great but there was zero Uber coverage in the area. As a result, I dropped off my Uhaul; the Uhaul app did not completely return the rental, on my iphone or on my android. And the I was stranded in Angel's Camp with no Uber. I walked to a motel, spent the night and caught the only Uber in town the NEXT DAY

Ed CI got there to return the truck. The door was locked, there were 2 people sitting in a truck. I asked if they worked there. They said the person that worked there had just left and would be back she went to pick up her kids. We waited an hour before contacting the 800 #. We followed the instruction they gave us parked the truck safely left in the keys and left box. So I could not answer the rest of the questions.

Cheryl Cthe location was closed so i did a self return. i called the next morning to verify the return and discuss the credit i was told i would receive. however, i was told the contract was already closed and that they did apply a credit and i would seenit in my receipts. today i received a receipt that charged me an additional $15 rather than crediting me. i will now have to call and try to get my money back again.
