I have now made six moves using U-haul, I have never had such a poor experience. The truck was dirty, didn’t start on one occasion, the wheel had to be turned about a quarter turn to the right to keep the wheel centered and the cupholders and other areas of the center console where filthy, the truck only had about 80 miles worth of gas in it and none of the rental equipment I had asked for was loaded in the truck or available at the location. Not having that equipment slowed down the loading process so much that I had to ask for an extra day because I didn’t know if I was going to make it on time to the drop off. I ended up delivering the truck early, but still got charged for the extra day Rental even though it was due to U-Haul not being able to procure immediate equipment I needed. I definitely will be looking into other companies for my next move.

I couldn’t close out my rental and a few other problems
ADRIENNE BSome better way to let the customer know which uhaul locations are "IN TOWN ONLY" as opposed to "ONE WAY TRIP" would have been great. Someone to answer the phones at those location would be great as well. What should have been a $300 trip including gas turned into a $700+ trip. I will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. And I will recommend ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY BEFORE THIS THEIVING MISCOMMUNICATION OF A BUSINESS!
