I am thoroughly disgusted with the Cottonwood Storage /u haul of Alamogordo New Mexico. My storage unit was broken into back in July and I was only recently notified by Suzanna Martinez in December when I discovered an unknown lock on my unit. An entire household and yard full of pictures knickknacks blankets towels sheets dishes A washer and dryer set and an antique wooden swing were all stolen. An expensive I love Lucy doll collection are among some of the many many items. stolen. The worst things taken were all my children’s baby books and momentos, a deceased child’s pictures and my deceased Mothers personal items, all gone forever. Police were notified and were also as shocked as I was that I was not notified in July as there may a chance to recover some of my items back then. I have made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and I am contacting the Attorney generals office as well. I am demanding a full refund of my storage fees from July 2020 to December 2020 as well as $1000 for pain and suffering of the loss of my deceased child and mothers personal items.

We found out they are no longer affiliated with u-haul and that we would have to pay for the 2nd month to get the free month. We just rented 2 trucks this month and need 1 more and cannot afford stora

No security at all. Our unit was broken into, items were stolen. Manager said security cameras have been out of order for sometime, he can't help us.

Never got a unit. Couldn’t find one the size I ordered online. No one there to help & still haven’t received a return phone call from them and it’s been 5 days now. Won’t order a unit online again.
