It smelled terribly of cigarette smoke in the truck. The woman was not knowledgeable of what was going on with uhaul and made the process so much longer because she was not informed on what to do.

Chuck RMake sure that someone checks in the truck, takes the key out of the drop off box and puts it in the check out box. Also staff at Niemanns know all the codes to the boxes. I was 90 minutes behind schedule getting started. Not happy. I deserve some compensation. 217 273 4142 is my number. Truck had less than a 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, no washer fluid, oil on dip stick was black.

Matthew SStore employees were not familiar with procedures to check the vehicle out and tried to send me to another location to complete the check in when my requested vehicle was at their site. Ended up having to call someone to walk them through the process.

Carman HThey did not maintin an inventory of blankets. The staff did not check "vitals" on the truck, such as oil level and cleanliness of the box. This is aparently a new program for this grocery store, and staff were still being trained. The staff were friendly and helpful, when previously made scratches to the box were reported.

AMY KGive the right information when someone orders a car dolly you should assess the model of car for the car dolly. I ordered a car dolly and when I went to pick up the car dolly they gave me a car hauler which I was not comfortable with and told me that it was sent in an email that the type of vehicle I was driving was not able to be put on a car dolly but when I was speaking to the representative at one 800 go U-Haul they told me that my car could be pulled with a car dolly. And I had given her the year make and model of the car and was expecting a car dolly not a car hauler. Ended up not taking the car Harleard because I rented a 20 foot truck and was given a 26 foot truck instead and was not comfortable driving both the car hauler and the truck without causing damage. What should’ve been a smooth transitional situation became very stressful and inconvenient. I will not be using U-Haul again I will go with budget truck next time!
