Improve - Everything! Seriously....where do I start? Lack of info /next morning being phoned before 7 am told van not available and feeling like I had to fix ending up with a much larger van that cost and was charged more money / not being told that I'd be picking up the van in another location / what I was told would take 15 minutes to pick up was 1 and a half hours / told drivers license info for second driver not required then was / told van gas not refueled and on at 1/4 tank then 1/8 and when got into the van gas was below Empty with refuel light on / more than 60 miles out in mileage - in your favour - than in the contract / app to take pictures required many more picture attempts... / emergency brake (checked with fellow at car repair where I picked up the van before leaving) and many other dash lights never went off / took husband more than an hour to pick up Sunday van from lock box needing to phone and wait for someone to call back (more than 15 minutes) and still can't understand why that person had to phone me for a confirmation when my husband had rebooked the Sunday van in his name and did this in person when he returned 1st van on Thursday. Cost of Sunday < less than 24 hour rental (still don't know what 1st rental actually cost) was way more than expected and more than recent rental with Budget.....thought would be cheaper and trying to find a smaller van but will not be returning to U-Haul. Too bad as hoping it would work to get a smaller vehicle as I need to rent every November for a week.

James MThe poor experience isn’t with the store location but with a representative named Shawn who called me from 250-858-0201. I had contacted the store to extend my rental on the Friday. First thing Monday morning, a man, who only identified himself as Shawn only, not saying he was from Uhaul, asked me when I planned on returning the truck (which is how I identified who he was calling from). I told him I had called and extended the rental at which point he was being very aggressive stating he was going to pull the recorded call to verify that and started the guilt tripping saying things like “what about the other families that had this truck booked” etc. He then threatened me with collections. He was very rude and obnoxious. His behavior was uncalled for and for someone who suffers from mental health, it has crippled me from going out of my home. I was in tears.
