The side door didn't close properly and once actually latched, it was difficult to get open. One of the tires started losing air and it turns out there was a plug in the tire.Jeffrey E.
Be at the location on time when it opens! We were there to pick up our truck and tow trailer at 9am which the time that was set up no one came to the office till 10:30 am. Then we had to wait another hour for the truck and trailer to get there. No one inspected the truck except to make sure it was cleaned out then handed the keys over without checking the tires on the truck or the trailer or checking anything else either. We got a little over a 100 miles from SC to Tennessee when we had a blow out on the trailer and fire coming out from where we had the blow out we sat on the interstate for an hour and a half waiting on someone to come change it out! We lost 2 hours of time to get to our destination and lost 2 and a half hours getting the truck loaded due to not getting the truck and trailer on time.Marty M.
The steering on the truck I rented was very loose, you couldn't drive it over 50 mph. I reported it to the young man working there, and he said that he would let his boss know. He also said that someone else had said something about the steering.Rickter H.
Recommend no smoking in the truck because it had a strong smoker's scent. Overall everything went well, I'd definitely rent from this location again and it was very convenient.Erica P.

At the time I made the reservation, I was offered CDW, and I respectfully declined the additional coverage. My confirmation reflects that I did not agree to accept this because it is not included in the payment amount. The inside of the cab was disgusting. The driver's cup holder was full of crumbs, there was dirt and debris all over the floor, and all surfaces felt sticky. Like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bag inside the cargo said 6 moving blankets, but there was only 5. A dolly wasn't provided, nor the ability to request one since no one was there. Additionally, there was a check engine light the entire time I drove the truck. No employees were at the location to talk to regarding these issues.Alexander T.
It wasn't the service that was bad, it was the truck needing repairs. The engine light stayed on, it was filthy inside and outside, I could not read the mileage in the odometer, the gas cap fault light stayed on because the gas cap did not seal correctly. However; the service was friendly, and very helpful. I was dissapointed that the Saint Stephen U-haul site was closed on Thursday so I could not pick up my RESERVED truck there. I had to go to Moncks Corner ," which added 32 miles extra to my trip , and last minute logistics " to acquire a truck that was on reserve for the next morning. So I had to move quickly within the hour. I apreciate Crawfords U-Haul for helping me out a tight spot .Terry Q.

The doors were propped open and there 'open' was written on the window bit there was no one there. I called the # on the window and was given instructions to leave the keys in the drop box. No one told me about the mobile dropoff or anything. He told me to call and let uhaul know where I left it. The rep on the phone was almost rude and directed me to call someone else.Emily S.

The truck i reserved was not there. no one at location when i arrived at reserved time He was 45 min. late. Sent to 2 other locations for my truck. No trucks. Finally found the truck i rented. 10 ft. i reserved it over a week ahead, it was gave to a person who reserved it the day before, while i stood there. Three people guaranteed i would get this truck. They were closed, so our dropoff was just to their lot which was in total chaos. We wanted to ensure the trailor was parked somewhere not blocking something else but that was impossible with the layout. There was no sign or indication as to 'return here' or anything like that - you just had to hope where you parked it was okay.Alejandro R.
I was charged .99 per mile online it was .69 per mile. I won't use this place again nor recommend it to anyone. The only thing it has going for itself is a convenience location. A situation arose and they were not accommodating at all. It was just about making money. I don't have a problem paying but due to the situation I think I should have been charged according or offered other options.ODESSA J.

I scheduled the truck from 4-10 PM and I was not able to pick up the truck until just after 5PM even though it was guaranteed ready by 4PMKeegan H.
Make sure that businesses used are reliable when it comes to someone actually being at the location, by the time UHaul customers show up to pick up trucks. Supposed to pick truck up at 10, was there 9:40. No one showed up until 10:30 and UHaul's computer system didn't help expedite the process...it kept hanging up while the gentleman was entering my info. It was after 11 before I could leave with the truck.SHERRY H.

Truck was brand new. Our sales rep went over all the important features and was friendly. Drop-off/pickup was easy. They even stayed late so we could get the truck in time to move our horse trailer for mandatory hurricane evacuations! Great experience and serviceRebecca W.

The shop looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Also, the inside of the trailer has grass clippings inside along with other trash that I had to clean up once I got it to my destination for loading. I will say the gentleman who owns the shop is very nice and helpful, but the facility and care of equipment is poor.Brian D.

The whole experience was a complete nightmare with Uhaul I would not recommend them to anybody else I would tell them to run as far away as humanly possible. We got on the highway with the U-Haul and it felt like the whole truck was falling apart had a 4 hour delay because they wouldn't just switch trucks had to go to all mechanic wait for them to change both front tires with both had broken belts in the tires which is extremely dangerous. The truck should have never been rented or been on the road and I could get no help from the service team they wouldn't just switch vehicles like I said cause me all kinds of delays and I had to move in the dark instead of the daylight I think your customer service is a joke and I would tell anybody that I asked to never ever ever rent from U-HaulDavid J.
This was the third location I went to trying to return the trailer. The very first one claimed not having room although there seem to have been plenty. But they sent me to another location which clearly had no space. The third location's staff re organized three vehicle to accommodate my trailer and one from another customer who showed after me. The location is also a used auto parts business so their facilities were not as tidy as other I have seen but the staff was excellent!!!Luis A.

I personally handed the keys in to the man behind the counter before 9:00 am which is the return time. The person told me he would check the truck In later and everything was fine. Well he charged my credit card without my concent and me not present for $45.36 for an extra day charge that I am not responsible for. I filed a complaint and am waiting for a response!!!David M.

Truck was filthy, dealt with a dead battery before the big move Friday morning. Had to leave the truck running while unloading to ensure it would run without me personally jumping it off again. Huge green sign that says $25 if they have to clean up the truck. They may be charging the $25 but they're not sweeping them. Truck has multiple body and mechanical issues, example: headlights hardly work and they point at the ground. No washer fluid to wipe off pollen. By far the worst experience I've ever had.
