BROOKE WThe check in was a little over the top. The reason I picked this location because it was to be open. But it wasn't open. The Funiture blankets was a joke. The blankets were wet and smelt bad. Then I had to fold the blankets back up, so I wouldn't get a charge of 25 dollars. Plus, I had to sweep out the back 2 times because the blankets were nasty and had stuff all over them.
Brett CI was overcharged for a rental I told would be taken care of the truck was filthy and mileage was incorrect when checking in . I will be going to resolve this matter tomorrow
Janae WThe only personnel at the drop off location were contractors. There was nobody from U-Haul there. The only reason the gate was open was the contractors were there. I was told to use the U-Haul app to check in the trailer. I ended up having to use the website instead and it was a royal pain to use. It was not a smooth process. The return procedure should be much easier. A U-Haul representative should be at the return location.

Lynette HTruck was dirty when we got the truck. Sent me a receipt charging me for cleaning a dirty truck. And charged me for gas when the gas gauge was returned on the same quarter tank of gas we got it on. Pictures to prove all this bs! Charged my card 3 times, for 3 crazy amounts when we only had the truck less than 24 hours and and when I called to clarify and correct the mistake, the line was busy for about 6 or 7 calls within that hour. Called the next day and the phone just kept ringing several times until it told me to put in an extension. Went to the shop when they were suppose to be open and no one was there. Would not recommend on my worst enemy.

Douglas LThis location was great. Our overall experience was terrible. We had to go to different locations before we found aa 15 ft truck that was available. We wasted 2 hours trying to get a truck. When I contacted customer service [?] to see if I could be compensated for the wsted time and dissatisfaction I experienced, I was told someone would cll me in the beginning of the week. No one clled
Joanne RThe first truck that they had for me was clean except there was an ants nest in the driver door panel. The ants ran up my arm biting me. The gentleman came to the shop to switch out the truck and the second truck was disgustedly dirty, smelling like alcohol and the front suspension of the vehicle is a death trap!!! Every bump I hit threw me over into the other lane almost hitting other vehicles or cement barriers. I’m very appalled that this truck was even considered to be rented to any customer with the condition it is in!!!! PLEASE HAVE THIS TRUCK LOOK AT!!! ( DC 9254 W ). Rhonda-Lee LWhen we returned the vehicle, the site manager stated that he would "take care of" the remainder of the checkin. Two days later, we realized that the vehicle was still listed as an active reservation on our uhaul account. After a phone call to uhaul, we were told that the site had failed to complete the physical check in, thereby affecting our eligibility to pick up our second rental (for moving to our new house). The representative attempted to contact Crawford's multiple times during our phone call, and received no answer. I then called Crawford's, and I spoke with an "answering service" who allegedly called the location and stated that "as soon as he gets done with his current customer, he'll call you right back." I received no call. My husband called and was told the same thing, with no return phone call. Eventually, my husband had to physically go to the location and even then, he was told it would be "taken care of." He had to refuse to leave in order to get the process completed and receive a receipt. In addition, uhaul provided the name of Jarred Hayes, the local representative, allegedly. This person refused a phone call, stating they would text only, and proceeded to reply only, "I'll make sure it gets done today" with no follow up and no response to any questions or information I provided him afterwards. We have been uhaul customers for years, and will continue to be. We just won't use this particular rental location again.
William BNo one was there , I dropped equipment. It was rather run down. I was by myself and had a passer by help me unload the trailer from my truck, as it is very heavy.

Annie BTruck was wrecked in the front. I was embrass to drive my daughter to college in a wrench vehicle in the front I need a huge discount refund back! I had to wait at the location for two hours bc no one was there
Veronica AFirst, the location I made my original reservation at didn’t seem to be an active business any longer. Not sure why you are still allowing them to fulfill reservations (they have a sign on their establishment saying “closed until further notice”) so I had to have my reservation changed to a place that was 25 minutes away (which added to my moving time and overall cost as you all charge by the mile. When I get to the place the truck I reserved is blocked in my another truck and It takes me a while to safely get the truck out of the parking spot. It’s almost like you all provide no over-site into the business you contract with. The customer service representatives were helpful but I feel bad for them because they are likely swamped in calls due to your lackluster management. I will do my best to avoid your services in the future.

Diego RTerrible drop-off experience. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unhelpful staff. I tried to explain that the truck was not full of fuel upon accepting it. I explained that I returned the truck with more fuel than I received it but it was not “full”. Further, I explained that the furniture dolley was in the back of the truck. This gentleman made no attempt at communicating with me besides an “okay” here and there. He made no attempt at doing a turn in inspection. He was sitting behind a cluttered and messy desk for our entire interaction. I asked where I could put the key and he said to just drop it on the counter. I dropped it on the counter and left. Awful customer service!! The place of business was a disaster; a messy and disorganized environment. This is our local U-Haul provider. Based on this experience, I will NEVER use this location again.
Edward GWe have rented several trucks over the course of a few months for a big move. This is a great location for us. We pickup at counter and the pick up process has gone well as well as the drop off. I would recommend this location.

Eva HExplain why there was a 10am pickup time on reservation when this location had NO ONE in the office and utilized a lockbox pickup? The owner was on a wrecker call for the county according to the answering service and attempted to help but was via phone. I could have picked it up earlier and since first time using this lockbox it took an hour and numerous phone calls to complete. I also had Additionally when trying to unlock the combo locks, they did not work!! Awful, old and wonky locks. Suggest using digital locks to avoid any frustrations. Also thought the truck engine was having alot of issues but thankful it made it.

Maurice SAt the last min my location changed and it was 20miles away so I had to pay more really not fair and I was taken advantage of.
Jennifer MI would probably check on the engine power status of the one that we used. I felt like the engine itself, while working, was struggling to pull it's own weight through the gears
Chris BI selected the 24/7 pick up, which turned out not to be available at this location. When I came back, they weren't open and ready for business, hadn't checked in the previous days trucks, and were extremely unorganized. The truck's check engine light was on, and the app did not work properly at check in, causing me to have to call U-haul to confirm vehicle turn in, even though the location should have still been open. I accidentally left a dolly in the truck, and there was no way to contact the location until Monday morning to retrieve it. Overall, I wasted at least 4 hours due to poor organization and app not functioning properly.

DWAYNE FTruck was not well maintained. Windshield had large crack and there were empty soda bottles still in the cab. The cargo areas also needed to be cleaned before I placed my items inside. Had to use this location in a crunch and thankfully the truck got the job done. Not my usual Uhaul experience.
Dwayne NFirst they looked my wife up and down like they were in a bar. Second, they had to call someone to know how to ring up the rental. That took time..... 1 hour it took!!! Third, I paid for trailer hook up and disconnect. They failed to disconnect on return. Lastly, location reeked of cigarette smoke.
Stewart PI had a 445 appointment to pick up the van. I got there at 435 and the guy wasn't there. Another business sharing the same building called him to tell him he had a customer and he said he would be back soon. He came back at 530 with many groceries in his truck. Iwaited almost an hour so he can go grocery shopping on the clock when i had an appointment. There was trash and used masks in the van from the previous driver.

deborah lTruck was stink and had pet hair on the seats. Could have used a quick vacuum and a cleaning in the front and cargo area. No windshield fluid and the tire pressure light stayed on. The ac was nice and cold. I would recommend a friend or rent again because of convenience in Moncks Corner.
Latonya HUhaul clerk was respectful and kind tome and others who were on the phone. My experience was such that will recommend highly Uhaul to friends and family.
