PETER Lunable to uncouple trailer by myself because there was no jack on trailer. Charged $20 for returning early because the return facility wasn't open due to snowstorm.

MICHAEL LThe location did their job. U-Haul, on the other hand, did not. Told two days before that my pick up was 45 minutes from location, meaning I spent an hour-and-a-half driving to get the truck. This meant that the people I gathered to unload the truck were unavailable and because of this I was late returning the truck--which caused me additional money.

MIchelle PMy only complaint is that is cost an additional $20 to drop off after hours which I didn't realize until after I dropped it off. I just figured doing it online through the app would save a UHaul employee having to deal with it.
Stephen EThe pick up process online was a mess and calling your customer service was disappointing, and incompetent. I started the process at 8pm…and had to call Uhaul due to problems with your app and website. I was on hold for over an hour, I got a representative who wouldn’t help, then sent me to reservation number which closed at 7pm. The next rep. Was smarter, and more helpful but the process took 3.5 hours. You need to totally rebuild your app, and test it with real people. I won’t rent this way again.

Michael CRenting a truck from U-Haul was a nightmare. I was bombarded with endless texts and emails that I could hardly read on my cell phone. I think I stopped reading them after the fifth one. The truck drop off, the 24 seven process, did not work at all. U-Haul.com/share did not bring me to truck return. I hassled was “signing in “and a history of a U-Haul rental five years ago came up. I struggle for a half an hour then finally drop ped the key in the box and left. I don’t want to have to take pictures of the truck, the dashboard, the fuel gauge. Horrible horrible customer service. Never again
Nan MDifficulty unhitching the trailer due to ice accumulation. Personnel was very helpful with this which was greatly appreciated as we were on a tight timeline with other appointments.
Brad DCharged an “after hours fee” because I dropped it off same day. There was never any mention of an after hours fee otherwise I would have waited until the scheduled drop off time.
Corinne BJoyce at Croteau was phenomenal. Uhaul not so much. We rented truck directly from Joyce and uhaul tried to give us 10' truck, when we booked 20' truck and then wanted us to go 40 miles away to get that truck when Joyce at Croteau had and knew a truck was available. Good news was she guided us through the entire process and went above and beyond
