We did self drop off, so these questions don't really apply. I'm not so much concerned about specific locations as I am company policies. First, I was constantly bombarded with requests to pull an additional trailer for compensation, even though I declined the first offer. Second, I was constantly harassed to decide on a drop off location, even though I indicated that I was unsure when I reserved online because I was unfamiliar with the area. I stated this again to the attendant when I picked up the truck. And again when someone from UHaul called me. Finally after another person called, I told them to just pick the place closest to my new address. They actually ended up picking a location 15 miles from my new house, when there were several within in minutes. Luckily we were able to switch it to a closer location. Finally, all trucks should be on full when you pick them up and should be on full when you return them. No one has time to do the gas level guessing game when you are in the middle of a move.

TRACY NThe self check in was very confusing process. And then the lock box had the wrong key in it. The uhaul app had way too many steps for check in and did not display the gate code. Had the office not been open, I wouldn't have been able to get my truck. I blame uhaul self check in more than the particular location.

Michael GMy review is being forced to drop off at another location further than the location I picked up. U-Haul decides to charge me more for a 5 day compared to what I was quoted. Then they call me and tell me where to drop off (further location) to not be hit with more fines and fees if I drop off where I originally picked up. Way to nickel and dime your customer, I will never use U-Haul again because of this experience.
STEVEN CThe location was fine, the worker at CubeSmart was great. I am very disappointed and upset with Uhauls customer service however. The Customer Service person was named Katie, down here in the Colorado region. I submitted a reservation for a 17’ truck looking to get a truck with enough space to move out of our apartment, without the truck being too big to fit in the apartments parking lot well. I get a call later that same night from a representative saying that they didn’t have 17’ trucks available at this location, and she could set me up with either a 15’ or a 20’ truck instead. I asked for the 15’ truck, she said she entered it and all should be good to go. My reservation is a bit later in the week/next week, so I go and pick up the truck and park it on the side road near our complex down the road, which is about .1 miles from CubeSmart according to the odometer. It’s parked there for a bit over an hour while I wait for my roommate to wake up so we can start packing the truck. When I pull it into the parking lot, I realize the truck is way bigger than I was expecting, and they gave me a 20’ truck instead. It’s too big to fit into the parking lot, so I call customer service to see if they can swap it out. Katie was unhelpful and rude about the situation, saying that she knows there’s no 15’ trucks available, that I would have to pay for both trucks if I were to switch them since I had it (parked) for an hour. I understand where cannot verify that I didn’t use the truck for that hour, but she would cut me off while talking and wouldn’t let me explain the situation. She kept quoting the contract and saying she saw nothing in the system saying that I reserved a 15’ truck. Her tone also was pretty insulting as she asked how I didn’t know the difference between 15’ and 20’. Most of the difference is in the attic, so how would I really know? It was apparent that UHaul gave me the wrong truck, and it’s frustrating that they will not take accountability for their mistakes.

Kent MMy experience was a complete disaster! I arrived early to do the 24/7 share and called prior to make sure the dolly i reserved would be in the truck. I took an uber to the location to pick up the truck. I had to call UHaul customer service multiple times because the app and location were not working. Finally got through all the steps to get the code for the key box. There was no key in the key box and I had movers showing up in 45 mins. UHaul tried contacting the manager and could not get ahold of them. I had to cancel my morning and afternoon movers and pay for another uber back to my house. Aftere contacting Uhaul they said they could have the truck ready for 4pm that day. I had to get another uber back to the location. My afternoon movers were not available and I had to book new movers last minute for twice the price. This situation caused so much more stress and money for my move.
