Dear U-Haul: U-Haul’s requirement that all customers must use the app is flawed. When I went to pick up my truck, U-Haul did not send me a link to secure the reservation, nor were the website instructions clear about the process. Ms. Cynthia Cuevas came to the rescue and AFTER AN HOUR of phone calls and navigating the website she was able to confirm my reservation and allow me to drive off to my reservation. I thank her for her patience and kindness.

I was confused as to what building the office was in as there was no discernible signage for U-haul. Once I found the office it took seconds to complete the process.

Not tell me half truths about billing or cost. I ask how much an extra day was on the rental and was told 20.00 by your agent. You should have a recording of the call. But when I turned it in I had to pay 49. Dollars NOT 20

Dropped off after hours; location did not check in vehicle for several days, leading to UHaul corporate contacting me 3 times to demand the equipment back (though I responded to the 1st contact that I turned it in).

The U-Haul is not identified (no sign). Last night the trailer had a very severe rain storm pass, while unloading it became apparent that the trailer had water leakages (identified to lady that checked the trailer in). Other than that the trailer was a great rental vehicle!

The owners were not available and they left someone else in charge. There was some confusion about the rules of what todo with the rental.

The trailer location was POOR! The trailer is in a location that caused me to get hung up down to the axels of my truck. A tow truck was required to get me out as well as the trailer. The owner insinuated it was my fault and she had to incur the cost of the tow truck. This is an insane accusation! If the trailer was better positioned in area that was level and solid ground this would not have been an issue!

What should have been a 15min pickup turned into 4.5 hours!!! Facility is not conducive to storing or picking up a hauling rental. Sunk into sand and took a tow truck to get me out! Once I was out, I drove down the road to inflate a low tire and it turned out to be FLAT! I had to return for a replacement car hauler. The loss of that time caused tremendous issues for me. I had many things to take care of prior to my departure the next day. That was critical time loss. When I discussed a reimbursement of the rental fee, I was reminded of the $225 cost of the tow that the owner had to incur but was reimbursed by her AAA account. This was an insinuation that was a cost I should have incurred. Remarkable inadequate customer service. The entire issue is due to the inadequate facilities and inadequate space to properly maneuver properly nor safely.
