Unprofessional, rude customer service
CAROLYN WThe team at Curts TS was great, getting me checked-in and on the road in a relatively quick time during what was appartently a very busy weekend for them with local University graduation. They were able to assist me with a last minute equipment upgrade when I realized the trailer I rented would not be big enough. These guys are top notch and focused on customer satisfaction.

FAWN BEmployees were very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. They made our experience very quick and smooth. Rented a car trailer dolly and were a little nervous that the ramps might drag on the streets. One of the employees even followed along beside us to for bit to ensure they weren't dragging. He truly went the extra mile for safety and to ease our minds.

STEPHEN L(1) I was rerouted to this location and lost 1.5 hours retrieving the trailer. (2) less than a block from pickup we found the tailgate wasn't secured and had to do so. (3) I noticed the trailer wasn't puling well and appeared to be listing to the passenger side. When I checked the warmed up tires they were at 32 PSI instead of the required 65 PSI. (4) After proper inflation the trailer still leans to the passenger side. (5) at drop-off I learned the previous renter didn't clean out their wood scraps and I had to take it back home to clean it properly. This is the WORST U-Haul trailer I've ever rented. Not only did I have to clean up someone else's mess, but tire inflation should be at the top of the list for your customers safety.

ROBERT PWhen I got into the truck, I couldn’t even believe I could barely see the dash the workers there did not make sure the truck was ready for me. It smelled it run rough it didn’t even wanna go like it was on its last leg as for the team themselves, the building smelled nasty unprofessional. They were all standing around chitchatting or whatever Very poor poor store I would not recommend it to anyone.

SHAUN OThe truck was given to us with virtually no gas. It was well into the orange show zone even though he marked the sheet right under a quarter. The check engine light was on for the entire trip. We were hoping it was nothing serious, but of course there was nothing we could do.
JOSEPH EWas charged a gas refuel charge $25. Stopped at gas and put gas in truck before returning it. Only put 31 miles on the truck. Between what they say they put in and what i put in thats 11 gallon of gas. Dont think so

SHEILA SHad the TV on loud enough with a fan in the background I couldn’t hear either of the two employees talk. One seemed frustrated because I needed him to repeat himself several times as I couldn’t hear over the football game on the TV. Overall poor customer service from the manager. The other employee there at time of pickup was helpful.

Archana CFeel like I was charged to much. for a little over 24 hrs for a 10ft truck I paid $120 and barely put any milage on it and returned it with more fuel init than what was in it when I got it
JOSEPH ASite stated location was open 8-8. Arrived at 12:10 sign in door said closed until 2pm. No answered the local phone number. Called U-Haul as the app had me as already picking up the truck and the keys were inside the locked business. After U-Haul called twice the worker opened the door to help me. When I dropped off the truck after filling the gas tank to the same amount it was at pickup the app stated I was being charged for fuel. I went inside to drop off the keys and ask why I was being charged for fuel. The worker was asleep after finally waking him up, his answers were so incoherent (I’m assuming he was still half asleep) I left the keys and walked out. Worst location I have ever used and will never use them again.
REGINA GI requested an appliance dolly but did not receive one with the truck, and the location was closed so we couldn't get any help and had to go elsewhere to rent one.
Kelly RI drove 2.5 hours to pick up a reserved truck at 10:00 am, when I got there the place was closed. The hours on the door said it was open from 7 am until I think 6 pm. There was a sign on the door saying will return at 2:15pm. I had even checked in on the Uhaul app to make sure they knew I would be there. Around 10:15 I finally found a number that I could call, nothing posted on the door, and of course nobody answered and I had to leave a message. Finally a worker shows up around 10:23. Not sure who is in charge or oversees this but no apology was given just an excuse that some manager just called him. Wasted 25 minutes waiting around and no offer to compensate me for the wasted part of the short time I had to load and get on the road.

TRAVIS SNobody there during hrs of operation when I picked up or dropped off. Thanks for the online pick up and drop off. Wish it was stated more prevalent in an email so I didn’t have to waste 20 minutes waiting.

AARON CThe place was closed early when we arrived for our reserved rental pickup. It would have been nice to know if we had called uhaul directly or another number listed at the site there would have been someone sent to meet us. I called the location - again an answering service that would have connected to Uhaul directly would have been great. As a result we ended up getting a hotel and picking up the next morning. The fellow helping us the next morning was more than great.

James JSite had people waiting since 730 when i arried at 845. They still weren't open then. It was after 9 before they opened the door. The guy that had been waiting since 730 and from he told me had talked to someone at corporate or a field manager was understandably upset. He simply said What the hell to the guy who opened the door and that guy launched into a tirade about not give a shit about uhaul and how he doesn't work for uhaul. Once they were done he was polite to me and did apologize for the previous altercation. My truck had not been checked in so I had to wait for it to get checked in to complete my registration and get out of there. It was 9:20 when I left, I got there at 8:45. This was definitely not a good experience and I won't use their site again except for a drop off.
Jason DMake sure there is gas in the vehicle and not 11 miles til empty and don't have the locations in two separate spots. When someone picks a pickup location and it says it's reserved at that location they picked do not wait til the day before to tell them they have to go two hours away to pick up the truck then another 16 mins away to pick up the trailer. Also your employees need to be properly trained on how to handle the computers and tablets, the poor guy that tried helping had no idea what to do and his trainer and manager kept leaving him alone the guy had only been working their for four days.

ROBERT DMy reservation was changed from my requested pick up location. I called and spoke to Will at the East Peoria location and he confirmed that the equipment was at my preferred location. When I arrived, I was told that there was no reservation there. I had to drive an additional 15 minutes to another location to pick up. This set me back 2 hours from getting the tow dolly and doing what I had to do. This was such a bad experience and I couldn't even get a discount for my troubles. I'm so disappointed with this rental experience.

PHILP SBusiness hours posted in windows are 7 am to 6pm, only to find it closed at 1:30 pm with a sing saying they'd be back at 6:15. Returning the truck then required an online ordeal that required a dozen fotos and took nearly 25 minutes to figure out. What if I did not have a smart phone or did not have a 20 year old by my side to help? I would advise against using this location.

EXCELLENT It was completely unacceptable that I made a RESERVATION for Comfort Furniture location WEEKS before so I could walk to pick up my Truck and Trailer - Luckily I checked 3 days earlier otherwise I would have had a mess - I had to change days and call an Uber ride to the location and then drive to another city to get the trailer after picking up the truck in the HOOD - I then returned the truck and trailer early but was charged EXTRA mileage - Because of all the problems with the reservation - WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION OF DAY AND LOCATION WHEN YOU SCREW IT ALL UP - I had to drive extra miles on my way to TX because of your mix up I should be reimbursed for the following: - Cost to Uber to the new location - Extra mileage - $258.50 back to my CC that I was billed - My extra time for having to pick up a day early, driving to two locations to get my equipment - Pick a $$$ - The time I wasted with a Flat trailer tire due to a lack of Maintenance - Pick a $$$$ - Returned the unit early -$50 fee for PROBLEM reservations - I was advised when returning all the Uhaul property that is offered because of the GUARNTEE that comes with a reservation that is not fulfilled - I only know about because the two young ladies in TX, in line in front of me, had to complain about not having the truck they RESERVED to drive to NV - LUCKILY since I returned mine early - They were thrilled to get my unit that would not have been there if I did not return early My guess is this will never be read by a human and I will get a crappy response from a computer AI - I would also welcome a call to discuss my compensation - Please return compensation to my CC on file - You sure know how to bill it ASAP!!!! I will however compliment the road side service OPERATION as a WHOLE - Since you had old tires on my unit and they failed - we were forced to use your SYSTEMS - They did work WONDERFUL and the people involved - Tire changer who I gave $20 tip was awesome Thanks for listening or not and taking action or not David H Runkel Jr

Anna SVery disappointed. U haul decided to change the reservation overnight, less than 12 hours before our truck pick-up time. NO NOTICE They changed the pickup location. We were never notified. On the bright side, the moving guys we hired were exceptional.
Amy SYou should make sure the Uhaul can be accessed in the same city as preferred pick up. I had to get a ride to East Peoria to pick up the Uhaul. It was inconvenient

Randy GThe vehicle had more miles than documented and last gas than documented by the agent. I was told it would be adjusted when the manager got there, but ultimately it wasn't. Because the mileage was off, I had to pay a little extra upon the return.

Patrick MDo not rent from this place. Dirty equipment, Emf lawyers that don’t give a shit and may or may not be there when you show up to pick up your unit or drop it off. I’ve rented there three times and I’ve had problems all three times. Had to have regional managers step in to correct my bill. Avoid.

Amy MNeed to make sure the equipment is all in working order. The left rear tire on the transport was low and the left transport signal and brake light did not work.
