Mike DI was quoted a rate of $19.99 for less than a day and charged $115 plus mileage. Andrew Corley refuses to rectify this. I’ll never use this company again.

Joe RA big issue here where I didn't realize the return time and was billed for an extra day plus insurance. The occurred for two reasons the facility closed at 1:00pm on Saturday and was closed on Sunday, after speaking with the owner I made a reservation for 12:00. I didn’t need the truck until Sunday. Additionally I had previously rented a truck , I believe in March, and didn’t need to return within 24hours. I returned the truck around 3:00pm and was told I would be charged an extra day and a day’s insurance. After explaining the situation the extra day charge was waved however the insurance wasn’t. Not really happy about the entire situation. I would have made sure the truck was back by 12:00 or possibly made the reservation for later Saturday or even Sunday.

Dan FMy issue was not with the locations but with the uhaul customer service. I extended our rental a day and it was never added into the system. when i called to discuss the issue i was told "just pay it because i cant do anything for you". this is never something that should be said to a customer.

Diane RI reserved a van from a nearby pickup location in about a week in advance. When I showed up to pick it up I was told that the person who handles rentals wasn't there and I couldn't pick up the van. I inquired and was told I would just have to go to another location but there wasn't anyone who could rebook me to confirm there would be a van available. I asked why I want informed ahead of time but did not get an answer. Unfortunately after a couple of phone calls my reservation was moved to a much farther location and it turns out Uhaul didn't bother letting me know the first location wasn't going to be able to service my original reservation. As a result I paid a lot more in mileage charges. I will look at other options next time. Oh and I got charged a cleaning fee even though the van was broom clean when I left it. Any chance to get money out of their customers.

WILLAM BWhen reserving the vehicle online, the website was not correct about what size vehicles were available. I had to take a smaller rental at the last minute and make more trips moving than I wanted to. If the information was correct, I would have known to rent from another location/dealer.

Robin FPerry, the owner of D&S Automotive took care of me personally. He was very helpful an friendly. A true professional. My family moved to Ridge about two years ago and needed to find someone reliable to work on our vehicles when needed. He wasn't recommended and the only reason why we chose D&S to do business with is because it's right behind my bank, Astoria Savings, about 5 minutes from our house. Close and convenient. He has serviced and inspected two of our vehicles and were happy with our experience. I would highly recommend D&S for reliable service and with U-Haul rentals that went smooth for us also. Lee

Sharona Athe van was not at this location. When we got there, it was at another location 20 miles away from out house. We went to the location on our order confirmation. When we got home later, we saw an email changing the location. You should WARN CUSTOMERS to CHECK their email/phone in case there is a location change. This wasted an hour of our time and was a very bad start to a busy and stressful moving day. We hhad calculated the miles we needed carefully and we HOPE UHAUL will take care of the over-mileage because it was not our fault.

DENNIS SEquipment was clean and in almost new condition. Dropped the truck off after closing hours and left the key in the drop off box...the whole process was a breeze beginning to end. Service was professional. Definitely can recommend renting from this facility.
