mirrors were not adjustable...looked like rusted. Floor board was extremely hot of feet. Cruise control is needed. arrived at site and they were out. There wasn't any space for me to park the truck, or have my second driver park our own vehicle. It was too cramped and their wasn't any U-Haul signage. I had booked the van, from 10:00 AM to 2:00PM for 4 hours, I reached the location by 10:15AM, they told car is not ready come by 11:30 AM, I reached there by 11:45AM, still the car was not ready for pickup. I got the van by 12:30PM. I suppose to use the VAN for 4hrs instead i had come by 2:30PM as My personal car was parked on their location and I had to take the car else they will close the shopSurendra M.

I dropped off the truck at 9pm on the day I rented the truck, 12 hours early. The drop off location charged me an additional day because they didn't log in the return until 10:22am the next day. When I called to get it corrected the lady on phone was not helpful and rude.Michele S.
The inside of the truck had grease in the bed. It got on our mattress and I notified U-Haul and filed a claim. It was denied and I now have a mattress that is greasy and not usable. I will tell everyone I know to NOT use Uh-Haul. I am very disappointed with the follow up service.Kenneth M.

First bad experience at a uhaul location and by bad I mean horrendous I came at the pickup time and had to wait for the manager He immediately got on the phone with a customer while he was helping me and told the person to hurry up because they were closing early We did a printed contract and when I got in the vehicle there was trash in the cab, the mileage was 39 miles more than the contract said and the tank was empty I went back in the office and asked for a reprint of the contract I was told they couldn't do that but the woman working with them initialed the contract and hand wrote the real amount When I got my bill it showed the original wrong contract info and I was overcharged almost 50 dollars I returned twice to the location the first time I was told that nobody there could help me but the manager will call me The second time I was told to wait because the manager was in a meeting and after 15 minutes he showed up and promised uhaul would credit me This hasn't happened I have documentation to back this up Besides the poor customer service from the start I was made to feel that even though they screwed up it was too much of a bother to fix it I was never the customer in this relationshipJohn M.

I don't think it is fair for uhaul to upgrade me from a 17 ft to a 20 ft then charge me the 20 ft rate. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about bait and switch tactics.MANUEL D.

Stress the importance of an adequate prior inspection. Checking miles out and cleaning under seats. My experience was poor but it was my fault for skipping the prior inspection.Julie E.

Train employees on rental procedures. I know it was their first time renting the truck to someone but it was very inconvenient to wait forty minutes to get the truck because I only had fifteen minutes to load it due to time constraints.Nicholas M.
the overall experience with being given wrong information and then having rented a smaller truck which occurred for extra trips and a rental car plus the drop-off location is 100% horrible I just received this email on 5 2 2016 when the vehicle was dropped off at the location on 4 27 2016.. My overall experience was absolutely 100% horrible and there is honestly too much information too right on this little forum... the only way you can improve U-Hauls experience with me to remove this vendor from your list of drop off locationsDavid W.
It took a while to find the location seeing that there was no identification that D&D auto rentals/ beauty shop was a uhaul rental location. It took my wife and I almost an hour to rent a uhaul because the staff had no idea what they were doing. Warning if they ask for a copy of your ID and credit card they are going against uhaul policy. In the future we will only rent from an actual uhaul dealership no more 3rd party rental companies.Jeremey E.
