I had an issue with the size of the trailer. A 6' x 12' should be 6' wide, but due to the ramp supports it measured 4'-9". My fault for not looking. I contacted the number given on my brochure. I talked with a lady, and she was very helpful. She sent me over to another lady who was also very helpful. I contacted another location about getting a bigger trailer and had it scheduled. The lady transferred me to a gentlemen who was the most unprofessional arrogant dick head I've had the honor speaking with. He was completely disrespectful and offered 0 solutions. I explained to him my issue and he kept being an asshole. He ended up hanging up on me, so I dropped the trailer and bought a new one in the town of the drop off. I will never use U-HAUL in the future. 1 bad employee can ruin a company, if this person worked for my business I would have fired him on the spot!!!!
JEREMIAH PWhen paying my initial payment by my Visa banking card someone at or affiliated with the U-haul system there in Salem hacked into my account and opened a joint account with my information and added their name to the account and caused my bank to freeze my account and my wife’s account causing a financial crisis. Thankfully the fraud department at the bank caught this in time, the person had later tried to move all my funds into the account they opened.

ANGELO TAgent change my one way reservation to local reservation and the date of return. Took over 1 hour correct the contract. And no apology from the clerk. Manager corrected everything and was apologetic about mistakes made.

philip gMake sure equipment is in good running condition ours was in desperate need of front end alignment also make sure to alot enought milage for one way trips. The guide for gasoline refueling was wrong as we was on 1/2 tank before returning put 10.8 gallons in and truck was already on full. We were charged for 17 miles over the 112 miles alotted but nothing reimbursed for extra gasoline in even through we went by your guide.

christopher sI can’t think of anything given the venue. The UHaul service was part of the Hotels operation and given the hotel was small, I didn’t expect a lot of inventory. That said the equipment was in good condition and I received the help I needed hooking it up.

Angela BAccuracy. I rented truck with 46318.9 miles on it. I turned it in with 46333.8. Not a lot but I was over charged about a mile. I took pictures at pick up and drop off.

MELVIN CIn twenty years of using UHAUL, I have never been more dissatisfied. The inside of the truck was dirty and sticky. The brakes were almost shot to the point of being dangerous. I should have taken it back, but I had to move; no exceptions, and was afraid there wouldn't be another truck. Then there is your logistics. I had to drive an hour to get a truck, so that added two hours of additional driving, plus the extra fuel. I have never had to go that far to find a truck. To make it worse, in the middle of the move, AFTER I signed the agreement, you decided to change my drop point. I had a drop that 5 miles away, but because you needed the truck 30 minutes away, you wanted me to deliver it for you. And at a threat of charging me if I refused. Your CS was very rude. Think about this from my point. I left IL going to IN, and had made prior arrangements to get a ride from my scheduled drop point. Now you change my drop point for which I didn't have a ride? You cannot do that to your customers and think this is ok. Frankly if I had to drive an hour to pick up my truck, so the next customer can drive 30 to pick up theirs. This ended up being a moot point, because like I mentioned, the brakes were bad and were getting worse. I was not going to drive that truck in any heavy traffic. I opened a service ticket and dropped at the nearest location. I hope for your sake, someone took it out of service until the brakes were replaced.

MICHAEL LPicking up a U-Haul truck rental at a crack motel 20 miles farther out in the boonies than where I was supposed to was a bit unnerving. Was doing U-Haul business with the motel desk clerk who spoke very broken English and constantly diverted his attention to all kinds of other motel traffic (guests, mail delivery, etc.).
