Originally, the trailer was rented on the app and the 1st place didn’t rent trailers. The place I was sent to next was closed on Saturday, the last day of the month.
The gentleman from Daytona Automotive was very helpful and understood my frustration. I can’t say enough good things about the service at Daytona Automotive. They made the difference with my experience with U-Haul. Great customer service!!! In my opinion, they should operate the main hub for U-Haul in the area.

Older truck provided for a 4/5 hour move.
The engine made several different noises once it warmed up…. which didn't give a lot of confidence or security during the trip.

Daytona is a small location combined with an auto mechanic shop, so is a bit crowded and lots of work going on. However, the staff is extremely accommodating and great to work with. Highly recommend

Much better experience than Steinhatchee. In Steinhatchee I had to cross 2 lanes of heavy traffic to get my truck. The attendant should have gotten the truck across the highway and delivered to me.

Don't charge the customer for the dolly. The U-haul should include one or just charge a one time fee of $12 not per day. Customer service was excellent though.

The only complaint that I have is on both rentals days apart, the place didn’t open until 9:30am, when the website states it opens at 9:00am. So on both occasions I was delayed 35 minutes on my starting time!

These guys were great! They were willing to wait past closing time so that I could pickup my rental. The U-Haul rental place in Sebring, Fl was not willing to wait 5 minutes after I drove an hour to get there. I had to settle for a smaller trailer than I needed and leave furniture behind.
