I picked up the truck and we got on the highway and the gas light turned on. There was only 30 miles of gas in the truck! Never ever have I had this happen in my almost 60 years of renting trucks. I filled it up for the trip and it cost over $100. I arrived in Christiansburg Virginia and dropped it off and they told me there is no reimbursement for gas. It still was on three-quarter tank. Should I ever rent from U-Haul again?

Car carrier surge brake was defective. One fender was bent and would not stay latched. Typical UHaul maintenance in my experience

The drop off location worked out perfectly, however there was some vehicles in the way for dropping off the trailer. The manager was nice and asked if we needed a hand backing in the trailer, but we were able to make it happen. All good!

I showed up without reservation kind of in a pickle. The owner was able and ready to help me, and made sure i was able to get best deal. Very nice person, would recommend this location

Very sketchy location to drop off. Dirty and junky. The place closed early to start holiday weekend.

The truck we needed was not equipped with what we ordered. We requested moving blankets and received a dolly instead. Pickup was horrendous and took an hour and a half as the Uhaul app, which we were directed to have ready for the pickup, was not able to deliver us instructions and we spend a great period of time with customer service troubleshooting the issue. Admittedly, the malfunctioning app was not the fault of the Uhaul location, but I will never be picking up a Uhaul remotely again as there was no one in the office to help us. I thought I would be saving a few minutes by picking up our truck from a closer spot, but there is a much more larger and convenient pick-up in our city.
