Be nice to have a electric winch to load cars that are not running on the car haulers.

CHRISTIAN L2 and 1/2 hour drive to pick up trailer, 2 and 1/2 hour drive back with empty trailer. Closer pickup locations would be an asset.
BRIAN MAfter hours, no one there so can’t rate the personnel. Very orderly yard, you can tell they are good.

Clarence FDiamond D owner or the U-haul representative was not knowledgeable or helpful. When asked to refund us our deposit, neither of them wanted to give us cash and asked us to request a cheque. They also made us unhitch the car dolly and move the equipment ourselves.
JILL STim Rogers was polite, respectful, answered all my questions. He even assisted me connecting my trailer & made sure all the lights on the trailer were working properly. I would recommend Diamond D Auto sales to all my friends and family!!!
AARON AI was given a truck with hafl a tank of gas, the check engine light was on and I couldn't turn off the haul/tow feature so I spent the whole trip stressed out and paying extra money on gas. When I asked for a different truck owner told me this was the truck I reserver and couldn't be changed. Absolutely the worst interaction I've ever experienced dealing with uhaul. I've done countless moves for military members and this was by far the worst experience I've had to deal with when dealing with your company. I'm quite dissatisfied with the way I've been treated.
KARL MIt was too remote for us. We had already driven 20 hours to Winnipeg and had to add another 2.5 hours in order to drive to remote city to pick up trailer as Winnipeg did not have any trailer for us. We had booked more than a month in advance.
Edward DDealing with Diamond D was great, but the equipment had issues that should have been looked after before it was dispatched. I would recommend equipment be serviced before it is dispatched.

Allie HI dropped the U-Haul off a day early but was still charged for 3 days rental when we only had it for 2 days. And I was charged for furniture dolly and moving blankets that we didn’t have. Would like a refund for the extra day and the accessories we didn’t get.

Dave BNot sure if trailer was checked over cause one tire was completely bald and all four tires were all very low of tire pressure . The next morning when I went to leave one tire was flat and had to be repaired.
Darren TThis location asked me to pick up my trailer earlier than my booking and I got charged an extra day because of it. I ended up getting a refund for the extra but took me 2 hours on the phone being on hold and 2 different departments to get it sorted out. Waste of my time for something that should have never happened. Honestly if there was a different rental company I would never use uhaul again. I seem to have trouble with almost every rental.

CHAD GTo start with, we were told we had to go get a truck from Portage La Prarie because there were no trucks available in Winnipeg. We had booked full month in advance to prevent this sort of issue. Then, the drivers side mirror was not attached when we picked up the truck. This was a major issue that required immediate fixing. We brought the truck into Winnipeg U-hall for the repair but it slowed down our loading by 3 hours not to mention the unsafe driving conditions. We then had an issue with the front wheels tilted in that slowed us down by 4 hours on moving day. By the end of the weekend, U-hall inconvenienced us 10 hours of our time and put us in unsafe driving conditions.
Sarah MI did the drop off on a Sunday and the business was closed. I did a remote drop off and it worked excellent.

Christine CI am not happy with the billing process. The rental outlet made me sign another agreement that was different than what I signed up using the wpg office. Uhaul needs to make it more transparent. Not cool.
Brett WI booked a 6x12 Cargo trailer on July 6 and should pick up on Aug 11 and pick up location near me in the same city. When on Aug. 9, I got called that I need to pick up in a different city which I had to drive 150km to get it and drove back. When I was picking up, the service guy had left. Trailer doesn't have a hydraulic lifter. Very bad experience
tassadar lInside of the Truck was not cleaned and there was odd smell like a dog smell in cab, but the person who has arranged a truck for me was so friendly.
Soungok KThis is the second time renting a car hauler (different location) and the second time it wasn't available when I went to pick it up. In this case, even after Uhaul called me and we worked out a pick-up day and time a few days earlier. I realise coordinating a fleet can be difficult... but I never did receive the call from the local dealer 24hrs prior to pick-up, that the uhaul customer service rep said would happen. The local rep was surprised when I showed up for the rental... as if he wasn't expecting me. I had moved the original booking date up one day...and maybe this created the second problem. (but not the first problem of the car dolly not being available in my city).

Kyle BI had to drive an hour and a half from Winnipeg to Portage la Prairie just to pick the truck up. Cost me more than $60 to drive it back, empty so I could load it. Customer who picked it up after me also had to drive from Winnipeg to Portage la Prairie to pick it up. No compensation for my time and money being a courier for your equipment. Truck was crap, no air conditioning, belts were squeeling. Passenger front suspension was sagged. Window crank was missing the knob. Customer service rep was polite, but needs to look at a map when assigning trucks to customers.
Nicholas BWe had a tire blow on the uhaul cause the inside tire was low on air and that means it wasn’t checked before we had it. The uhaul was also dirty.
