Only issue with my experience was the text messages and call wanting me to pull a trailer back for U-Haul. The compensation offered wouldn't have offset the additional fuel need to pull the trailer. Not a pickup location issue but a U-Haul corporate or scheduling issue.Steven K.
The whole process of making a reservation, picking up the vehicle and dropping it off was very easy and seamless. However, I'm still having issues getting a clear detailed bill showing the individual daily and mileage charges.Chris B.

The only issue was a greasy furniture dolly that we didn't need. However, it left grease stains on the carpet of my vehicle since I had stored it there. I was able to remove the stains but it was certainly a negative experience. Otherwise the owners were very accommodating and helpful.GREGORY W.

This is more for the overall UHaul experience - not the location. I rented a small truck and I specifically clicked that I was not towing a car, but the truck I was assigned had a hitch but no pull-out ramp. That was a big problem. I didn't think I had to specify that I wanted a ramp.Anne S.

We rented 2 uhaul 26 for trailers. We wanted to get in cloquet mn but were told to go to duluth. We got to duluth and received the first truck. Which the horn of cruise control did not work. The next truck was 4 miles away. We get to that destination only to find out that there was no truck. So we than had to drive to superior Wisconsin. Received the truck they had the mileage at 35k and it was 53k. And 1/4 tank vs full. We called that location and he was going to fix it. We returned the first truck no problems the girl workers were great. Get to the second drop off in cottage grove so after hours. It would not let us return since mileage was so far off unless we wanted to pay the postage of 27k. Caked multiple times sat on hold a long time. Just a miserable experience. Very frustrating it was just not an easy move. Except the movers we hired were amazing.Michael R.

The drop off was picked wrong - he said dropoff Burnsville and I said yes but on form it said Blaine, so I had to call in and get the proper drop off at Burnsville. Also was supposed to have two dozen moving blankets and they gave me only a dozenDavid M.

Paid for a dolly and 6 furniture pads, didn't received either items. After being on hold for 45 minutes, I finally got a hold of someone, only to find out I'd have to drive to a different location to get my dolly and pads. So I wasted almost an hour of my move time, AND didn't have the necessary equipment for my move. There was blood smeared down the side of the U-haul. The Uhaul app would not let me upload pictures to sign the truck back in. Called customer service, was on hold for 50 minutes before I gave up. Then I just used my browser on my phone instead of the app so I could upload the pictures to drop off the Uhaul. Worst experience ever. Never again will I rent a Uhaul.Daniel B.
Location: Good: helpful and has a good inventory U-Haul company: * Good: always has what we need to rent *Negative: double check all your paperwork and pre-checkin. I opted out of insurance and when we got our invoice when we picked it up they had put the charges on anyway. The location had to adjust. I had done the pre-checkin, not the locations error. We have rented many times and there always seems to be some way U-Haul tries to get a little extra money out of us. Will spare you the details.greg G.

I reserved this truck on February 26, 2021 for an April 8 pickup ... 6 weeks in advance. I selected my pickup location (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Duluth; 4723 Miller Trunk Hwy; Hermantown, MN 55811) very specifically because a) it is a large full-service U-Haul facility and I wanted the confidence and convenience that goes along with that, and b) my hotel was directly across the street. On April 6 I was informed by U-Haul that my pickup location had been changed by U-Haul to a location 6+ miles away from my hotel, and in the opposite direction from my planned route .. my telephone inquiry to U-Haul about this last minute change was met with indifference by the dispatcher ... if I wanted a truck, I had to go to this new location. Take it or leave it. When I arrived there Mr. Dierycks and his wife both were very nice, but the location was not a full-service U-Haul facility and, as I recall, my truck was the only one on site, plus the location offered no real moving supplies. After receiving my truck, I had to drive back to the location I selected in the first place ... that location had 20-30 trucks sitting on their property, including several of the size I rented. This last minute change was TREMENDOUSLY inconvenient and caused considerable delay in my move schedule. As far as I'm concerned, this was inexcusable on U-Haul's part since I had reserved this truck so far in advance. Dierycks Service is not even remotely at fault here.ROBERT PARNELL S.

Dierycks was a good place to drop off. Plenty of space and helpful people. Our initial reservation showed a different location to drop off and that place was a nightmare. No attendant, no good place to park and no way to get information at the site. When I signed in to the app to return, I realized we had been redirected to a different site. Again, this was not communicated clearly or in advance, meaning I had to drive the truck around the return city using my mileage and gas.
