This was the worst part about my rental experience. This location is WRONG. I spoke with UHaul about this already. There is no one there or a key drop off. There is also no where to park the truck. This needs changed immediately.

The truck had significant rust in certain areas, the vents in the cabin do not stay in place and pop out, and most importantly there was NO backup camera. It’s 2025 and a backup camera is absolutely necessary. The most hazardous issue was a burnt out headlight(s) which provided an extremely inadequate amount of light at night time. Otherwise, the owner was responsive and answered phone calls.

However the location was wrong on the app and Google maps so I had to call the office and set everything up over the phone during pick up and drop off. I also forgot my ezpass in the truck and haven't been able to obtain it

When I arrived at the correct address my rental truck was blocked in by another truck and there was no one in attendance to assist so I had to move the trucks around on my own. There was a good chance I could have dented the trucks while doing this. It was not a good user experience.

GAUTAM PThis was a wild experience the guy was unprofessional. And he’s trucks are not housed at the location provided from U-Haul. You are sent to the location, you call him he says he is coming with the truck then you have to get in his car with him and go to a second location. Never have I rented a truck and had to go to another location.

Gui PThere need to be clearer directions that the location listed on U-Haul is the site to pick up your keys through a lock box. There is no desk or person to talk to in person. You then need to walk half a mile to the truck. This wouldn’t be an issue if it were clearly posted on the site and I knew what I was getting into. I was also charged $15 for gas after being told I would only be charged $5. I went 7 miles (under 1 gallon of gas) in the truck and the standard fill up rate for U-Haul is about $5 per gallon
KYLE FThe drop off and pick up procedure was very confusing. An email explaining everything in advance would have taken care of that. The man I spoke to was very friendly but the system kind of sucks. The keys are a ten minute walk from where you park the van.
Jennifer BWhen I go to the address, there was no office or counter (despite being listed as so) and it wasn't clear who to contact. I eventually found someone who called the right person and I was given the combination to open the lock to get the key. However, it turned out that the trucks are parked 1/2 mile away. Luckily I didn't have anything to carry when the taxi dropped me off and I walked the 1/2 mile. It would have been even more frustrating if I had something to carry or if it was raining. There was no information on the U-Haul website about any of this.

Michelle THe did not disclose all the charges and despite the fact we declined insurance on our reservation. He charged us insurance. We met somewhere else and drove couple a miles to another place to pickup the car. Same with the drop off. We drop the car somewhere else and keys couple of miles away in a different place. I would avoid this location and franchise in the future. Do not recommend. Worst U-Haul experience I had.

As other reviews mention, the location can be a little tricky to find but we managed and the truck we rented was just across the street from the garage where we picked up the keys which clued us in that we were in the right spot. For anyone looking to rent, I would recommend. Key pickup/employees are inside the long driveway/garage in between the autobody shop parking lot and DR gallery. Thanks for making it an easy pickup!
Conor TMy contact was VERY helpful and gracious with me. I used the truck to move apartments and they communicated well to help me get the key, use the truck, and return the truck correctly. The truck was not parked at 4 Lackawanna Plaza, so I drove a few minutes away to its location. That wasn't a problem for me, but it was stressful at first when I realized I couldn't find it at 4 Lackawanna Plaza. I could imagine another customer being dropped off at 4 Lackawanna Plaza and not having a way to get to the actual location of the truck.
David FHave more than one person working and don't require the customer to do all the work only to charge the customer a feul charge for a short distance rental because an employee needs to put fuel in the tank. It should be filled before every rental.

Bonnie BTruck wasn’t there from pick up time at the right location. U-Haul didn’t want to give me the $50 credit. I was on a tight time constraint because I was paying for movers to meet and the owner of this establishment is nasty white out the gate and then when I matched his And let him know that all this is not OK. He was like I’ll cancel not a single apology and he just stole asking me all the questions. I already put in online trying to drag it out because they were trying to go get the truck wherever it was still not a single apology and he hung up in my face. I didn’t yell at him. I didn’t him, but clearly I was very upset and I have every right to be, but I was never disrespectful and he Was , never using them again
Stefanee GAdvertise better or set clearer instructions. It was expected to be a mobile pick up and was not. The van was not in the location listed. I had to drive the person to get location to then get the van. The App, the expectations and time frame was not aligned with that I agreed to. Drop off was not clear. While the owner helped, I did not appreciate him making me feel like I should’ve known something that was not. And made me feel like he went above and beyond to help me when I did not get my rental until 30+ mins after the reservation time and etc. he stated it’s the app and a U-haul issue- however it’s misleading regardless if it’s the app or not.

Pearl ANo one was there, nor was there clear signage for equipment and lockbox. 8 am pickup turned into about 8:35. 35 mins wasted. Rented moving equipment wasn't in the vehicle. Person who eventually called me told me he would drop them in 15 mins - almost 2 hrs later, he was still "15 mins" away. Ended up using equipment from building I was moving from. It was a timed move so I had to improvise. Never again!
Rayon FThere are no designated parking spots for the uhaul vehicles, there were some cars parked in the spots so that there weren’t any spots to park the U-Haul. The truck we rented was also dirty up front with trash and left over drinks in the cup holders.
