The experience was good, the rental uint was in very good shape. There was one discrepancy. When I picked up the UHAUL cube van the gas gauge showed only 1/4 tank of fuel. Shortly after I filled up the unit with $150.00 of regular gas. I did not see any initial paperwork to indicated the amount of gas in the tank when I picked up the unit.. When I returned the unit the paperwork and data online said that the gas tank was full when I picked it up. This frustrated the rep at the drop off location in Edson and also upset me. I Made the mistake of not reporting the gas amount when I picked up the unit and made the mistake of not taking a picture on the gas gauge when I left with the unit. I need to know how this mistake happened? I do not recommend this pick up location and I need an answer to this problem. - Paull Belanger, Edson, Alberta
Paul BI am so disappointed with this service from U-HAUL and I feel defrauded. Here is why. I registered for a U-haul truck with reservation numbr 84193419. For a trip from Edmonton to Regina. Pick truck on 8/1/2025 and return truck on 8/4/2025. When the service was booked the bill was $500+ on getting to the pick up location the U-haul representative advised I take insurance which I did. Which brought the cost to $600+, when it was time to make the payment - I saw the bill went up to $732.90. I complained to the U-representative and he explained that he had to change my reservation to 85495105, and that he has put in the notes section - for me to be refunded $100 +, when I return the truck to Regina. I have since returned the truck since Monday 4th of August and I have not gotten a call or refund from U-Haul. This is totally unacceptable.
