The entire experience was not pleasant. I first order an open utility 6 x 12 trailer with ramp from Autumn storage. Order was came up as some enclosed trailer. it was fixed then changed to a 5x9 trailer with ramp, which was fine either size was workable. Then I got a call that she need the vehicle info that was going to pull the trailer. I called her back with that. Then I got a call that a $60 deposit was needed that she was not able to finish the reservation. Then I got a call that the trailer was not available and discount muffler would have one. Tuesday on my way home from work I received call from office in Boise that first order was canceled and the trailer would be at Discount muffler, which opens at 10:00 am. which was not ideal. Got a call that morning from the owner of discount muffler that he would not be there until 10:30.am then he arrived at 10:45 which put our moving an hour behind schedule. so unfortunately is wasn't a pleasant experience. Rate for the trailer was great though. Returned with no issues.

Diana EPerson working at the facility was EXCELLENT. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and great. What wasn’t great was the location. I needed a rental in Nampa, not Mountain Home. It took me 7.5 hours to pick up 2 pieces of equipment because Uhaul didn’t make sure the equipment was even in the same city. This was incredibly frustrating and made my whole move much harder. If not for that, I would have scored this location as excellent.

CHRIS JWe are a military family and have used uhaul for every stateside move, including this one. It saddens me to give this review but I feel it is fair and that we were patient with every inconvenience that uhaul gave us on this trip. So, to have charges tacked on at the end felt very wrong. We were charged fees at drop off for mileage and gas. Our gas was one notch below the quarter tank (where it was supposed to be). That being said, our drop off location was not originally this spot. We were emailed with another location in town, then upon arrival, the provided uhaul asked us to then drive the truck back across town because they needed it at another location. Being patient and understanding, we said yes. We took the 16 mile trip to the other uhaul in town and dropped off. I did not feel that the extra charges for mileage and gas were fair because when we dropped the equipment off in the original provided location, everything was as it was supposed to be. I felt very taken advantage of.

Wilmer WI had to spray the appliance dolly wheel bearings with WD-40 since the wheels were dragging. Worst part was when I got 50 miles out of town the low oil light came on.

MITCH PWe were charged for two 24-hour rental periods even though we only had the truck for one 24-hour period. This happened because we were scheduled to pick up the truck at 2:30pm and arrived early to allow enough time to complete paperwork, etc., but rather than adjusting the return time, it was left as 2:30pm the next day, causing the system to register it as us having the truck for 24 hours and 17 minutes. After phone calls and emails to UHaul, this still has not been corrected almost a month later. I am extremely disappointed and will not use UHaul again in the future if this is how they want to conduct business.
michellE bConsolidation of uhaul locations in this city needs to happen. Had to go to 3 locations total to find my reservation and didn't end up getting the original type of trailer I reserved. Customer service was non existent in 2 locations, desert sun reality and horizon storage, finally after calling all morning then showing up to another location that was closed as well I was redirected to discount muffler. I think all business should go to discount muffler for mountain home. I can't begin to explain enough how frustrating my experience was this morning with the other locations.

DALIS TI was scheduled to pick up at a different location but they were not open and your company had to send me to another location. Your company should check to see if the location you are sending your customers to is actually open for business for the day pick up is scheduled.
