The number to the location didn’t work so I was never able to make contact with them. I called back to the place I rented to find out what to do. They said leave it there and someone would get it. A few days later I received an email that U-Haul had tried to contact me and that I had not returned the dolly. Neither my wife nor I had received anything before that email. I had to call and explain what happened, where I dropped it, and that I took pictures. The drop off location needs to have contact info that works since they don’t have an actual office. It was confusing and created extra work for everyone involved.

Be sure to read the fine print in the contract, especially when it comes to gas and price they charge per gallon. The level of gas noted on the contract was not what was in the truck upon rental and it was after hours so there was no way for us to contact the lady we completed the contract with. We ended up paying an additional $45 for "gas charges" when we returned the truck with more gas in it than we originally received when picking up the truck.

I booked the U-haul for 8:00am no key was available had to wait until 10:30 for the company to ope. prior to driving the U-Haul away it getting home and opening the back of the U-Haul it was very dirty. I have pictures. So I had to take it back and schedule another one. Now the lady was very nice about switching the U-Haul out. But it delayed my moving process.

I needed a truck in Columbia, SC. I was driving from Chapel Hill, NC. I reserved it a month in advance. The day before pickup, i got a text saying the truck was now a available in Leesville, 45 mins west of Columbia. When I asked why, the agent said the waiting list was 30 people long in Columbia. THAT’S WHY I RESERVED A MONTH EARLY. Instead I had to pick up a truck in Chester, an hour away, at a dump of a location, where the person renting had to do the transaction on her phone. God I hate Uhaul.

Actually fix your truck with no working AC, rented this same truck a little while back, had, broken side mirror and no working AC then too. Using Penske for any future needs, ridiculous. Very dissatisfied with the truck, I've used Uhaul for many years but I'm done now.

What can y'all do to improve for the next customer is be honest and more truthful I paid a $100 deposit for a $19 dollar U-HAUL I goes to look at my order to see why I didn't get my deposit back in the system it says my total came out to be $83 and some change some body math is not mathing correctly

They were never there to help me with anything and when someone was she had no idea what she was doing. So I incurred all kinda charges I shouldn't have and ended up with a bill of almost 500$

The lockout to tightened down to lock trailer to ball was seized up , I had to purchase a pair of Channel locks at a price of 36.00 dollars to tightwn the lock nut, and to unscrew the locknut at drip off. At drop off the attendant also tried to unscrew the locknut and could not with out channel locks

This place is a pitiful representation of a uhaul business. Now this contract number 87068880 has now been charged $24.62 for something I'm not aware of. The dude wanted to charge me $49 for a piece of small glass in the loading area which we cleaned up and the gas tank had more gas in it than when I picked it up. Can you get my money returned?

I was charged an extra day when I turned in the uhaul. This location forgot to put the drop box in the front of the store. They were nonchalant about their mistake and didn’t care they I was charged extra because of their mistake. I will not Recommend this location to anyone!

The down fall was I reserved a 10ft but on pick up could only get a 20ft or a 15ft but they did accommodate me the 15ft the tank had 1/4 of gas and ion drop off it had 3/4 in it and I was told I would be refunded if I over filled it .I never got my refund

I picked this location because it was the one that opened the earliest in the area, at 9:00am. I also had my fiancé and mother in town to help me with this mover. At 9:15am, there were 3 customers, including myself, that were waiting. I called UHaul Customer Service to get help with the location. While waiting for a representative, a local policeman drove up and tried to call the owner as well. Someone finally arrived and the store at 9:45. I left the location at 10:02am, very disappointed and angry. As I told my representative, due to that experience, I would not be using UHaul again and I would not recommend them. I did receive a $50 credit back to my account, but I was late to my location to pack my belongings and felt rushed during that time.

Was not able to receive the key to the vehicle. Uhaul CS rep were no help and 2 were rude. The owner of the location was nice and apologetic. However I lost money and time because I wasn't able to meet my deadline. I'm very disappointed in the service I received from Uhaul.

The office was late opening and there was not a Dropbox but luckily there was an employee waiting for the manager to get there to open and she took my keys nd paperwork so I wasn’t any later for work then I already was since the night before there wasn’t any Dropbox to put the keys in I was forced to come back.
