JOHN BNot a great experience. I used this location because it is walking distance to my home. When I picked up the van, I was not given the opportunity to do an inspection of the vehicle before heading out and instead was told that it has already been inspected and I can take photos if I wanted peace of mind. The cab was not clean inside, it had what looked like saw dust on the passenger seat, but the back was clean. The gas tank was not full making it difficult to know how much gas I needed to put back. Luckily I took photos to compare both gas and mileage used. I also did not appreciate being charged $80.00 for a 1hr trip ($60 + $20 insurance) so a $19.95 rental ended up costing me $80. My trip was only a 36 KM round trip and I was not offered any free mileage. When I returned the vehicle the Agent was too busy to review my bill with me, so I had to wait till I got it emailed to me. I have used U-Haul in the past but I will have to reconsider using it going forward especially for shorter trips as it is not cost effective, and will use Home Depot instead.
EDUARDO NHi, I am always very impressed by the consistent & professional customer service as well as the quality of the trucks etc. that I have rented in the past. Which is why I didn't want to write this review, but felt I had to. The individual that served me at the counter and checked me in was very helpful and went the distance to ensure that I was served which included: going out in the snow and cleaning off the trailer I rented, raising and preparing the height of the tongue to match my vehicle, etc. All seemed well, until I moved the trailer in front of the building to take final pictures. What was not seen until then was that one tire was worn smooth, with no tread at one section and even the wires were showing through. I am horrified of what could have happened if I had taken that trailer on a major highway with a full load for over 4hours. It could have ended tragically. Someone at your location needed to do a better job of routine inspection and maintenance of the older equipment, prior to my arriving to ensure this could never happen. Once I told the customer service rep, she quickly made arrangements for the only other enclosed trailer on the lot which was smaller than originally reserved. I am/was a loyal customer... but for now very disappointed...

SHAWN BThere should be no different price in one way drop off, 99 cents during week ,1:20 weekends , I was disappointed in finding different prices, the drop off location was unmanned, so, no representative I like U-Haul, but when calling to make reservations, it should be more transparent, upper management on calls are in my opinion, USELESS.

WAYNE MThe person working here was not very friendly. I had questions/concerns regarding my pick up, and she continually interrupted me and was not very helpful. She just wanted to read a paper like a script, and didn't really seem to care about my concerns. I even asked about her doing a walk around, I told her that I got a text that asked for pictures of all sides of the trailer that I was pulling, but nothing about the truck. She just said don't worry about it. I took my own pictures to document the Truck before leaving, so that I could not be held responsible for any previous damage. I also got the Truck with only a half tank of fuel, which she said is normal. I have rented cars and Trucks before, first time with UHaul here, and it's always been Full to Full, or else you pay a big price for fuel if the vehicle is not brought back full. I took part in the Equipment Distribution Program, and it was very unorganized. I had great help from a Lady who I spoke to early in the process, but I didn't write down her name. She co ordinated for me so that I could get the Truck and Trailer from one location. The paperwork had the correct pick up and drop off location that was agreed upon. I then receive a text saying that I'm dropping the Trailer at a different location. I called in and had great help from a Lady named Kiera, who passed me on to Dispatch. The Man there was very rude, and made this issue out to be my problem. Unfortunately, I did not get his mane either. This system needs an overhaul so that it is much more streamlined. The Man told me that the location selected for drop off, could not take Trailers, and I said how am I to know that. UHaul should know that when making the arrangements. Even in the end, when I received my final invoices, nothing on there matched what really happened. I have no idea how you actually know where your equipment is with this kind of organization.
