It was hard to let the UHAUL go. Hers was the 3rd place I had to drive to, trying to return the truck and the automobile trailer. She then said she could not remove my car. Which I understood, because she was the only one there, running their store. PLUS: that trailer's heavy duty car rope was defective on its left side. It was VERY hard to remove. I fretted , and fretted thinking my car would be stuck on that trailer, and then I wouldn't be able to go back to my new home! *I asked another UHAUL driver for help, unwinding the left rope.

The dash light said the RR tire was low on air and they stated they had no air. There were 2 dollies in the back of the truck that I did not order. So they banged around until I could pack enough stuff around them. When I looked up the phone number for this location, nobody ever answered the phone! Multiple calls at different times. Could not provide me with a receipt when I checked in. Did not get an e-mail until the following day with the receipt. Not happy with this rental experience overall. Maybe I'll rent from Budget next time.

They charge me an extra day for being 30 minutes extra due to traffic I couldn't be earlier. I would never rent uhaul If they gonna robbed me like that

I feel that a representative from U-Haul should inspect the locations and equipment on a monthly basis. The cables were broken which is why we could hardly get the door to open up. There was also a loose cable hanging down by the license plate. The store itself that was not pleasant. I go in to let them know I was there to pickup rental and the girl acted like she had not a clue, the next thing she hands me her phone with a lady's face on it asking me for information will customers standing all around me. I was very uncomfortable with strangers getting to hear my information. That was handled quite unprofessional. Disgusting actually. When returning the rental 30 minutes later the same girl again acts like not a clue what to do tells me to go home and pay my receipt. I thought that was pretty unprofessional considering I was charged for not being able to rent a functioning rental. I will never use your company again and will not refer to anyone. I will however tell them of my horrible experience and how it was handled.

We got screwed on the gas we went 15 miles and got charged for 4 gallons of gas. It was only a 10 foot truck. If it don’t get better mileage than that they need to get rid of it. We only had about 300 pounds loaded in it

This is related to location 203 E Central Ave. Winter Haven, FL, which was the first location agreed for drop off, and not the Dundee Sunoco the place we end up returning the unit to: I was very confused and disappointed when I went to return the truck at the 203 Central Ave, which was the initial agreed location and the attendant refused to take it because “he had no room in his lot to keep it.” He did not even gave us the opportunity to enter the establishment. Came out waving hands and sent us 5 miles to another location we just had passed to make the return. I called Uhaul and explained the situation and was given another location, but was charged for the miles I spent back and forth due to being refused service at the return location. Not sure if its a gimmick to make customers spend more miles, or complicate the process. But it will be helpful if the receiving location could confirm their willingness to accept the return prior to the customer arriving on their premises to just be turned away. Employees seemed to have no knowledge of how to check out a job, had to call and then only handed keys. Truck had multiple issues that I passed to drop off location like steering and steering problems.

The facility seemed ill prepared for assisting with reservations. Desk help needed to contact someone offsite for assistance. Took over an hour from arrival to get the ok to leave with trailer. Appeared person running counter was not equipped to handle reservation and no one on site.

Check engine light was on Less then half a tank of gas Was given the wrong truck miles and tag number were completely different and no instructions on use. Also took forever to get checked in. Just a mess.

Overcharged and equipment not provided. Gas meter was wrong and have been barged for incorrect info on truck

All good, process very easy and representative at this location very helpful and easy to work woth
