This is related to location 203 E Central Ave. Winter Haven, FL, which was the first location agreed for drop off, and not the Dundee Sunoco the place we end up returning the unit to: I was very confused and disappointed when I went to return the truck at the 203 Central Ave, which was the initial agreed location and the attendant refused to take it because “he had no room in his lot to keep it.” He did not even gave us the opportunity to enter the establishment. Came out waving hands and sent us 5 miles to another location we just had passed to make the return. I called Uhaul and explained the situation and was given another location, but was charged for the miles I spent back and forth due to being refused service at the return location. Not sure if its a gimmick to make customers spend more miles, or complicate the process. But it will be helpful if the receiving location could confirm their willingness to accept the return prior to the customer arriving on their premises to just be turned away. ANTHONY PEmployees seemed to have no knowledge of how to check out a job, had to call and then only handed keys. Truck had multiple issues that I passed to drop off location like steering and steering problems.
Timothy GThe facility seemed ill prepared for assisting with reservations. Desk help needed to contact someone offsite for assistance. Took over an hour from arrival to get the ok to leave with trailer. Appeared person running counter was not equipped to handle reservation and no one on site.
Teresa BCheck engine light was on Less then half a tank of gas Was given the wrong truck miles and tag number were completely different and no instructions on use. Also took forever to get checked in. Just a mess.
Chelsea SOvercharged and equipment not provided. Gas meter was wrong and have been barged for incorrect info on truck
