I scheduled a truck three weeks prior to picking up our rental. Scheduling called the day before we were flying to Austin Texas to pick up the rental to tell us our location was moved to an hour away. We called back and it was moved once again to a location even further away. We were not told then or sent a text link that this was a 24/7 pickup In fact I had never heard of 24/7 pickup. While U-Haul may like 24/7 it is not user friendly nor were the people we spoke with helpful. All the help we got from scheduling was I sent you a video. Not helpful when you are in the county with weak service. It wasn't until we were able to convince a U-Haul representative to stay on the phone and eventually transfer us to another rep were we able to retrieve the keys to the truck. This whole experience took almost two hours in 100+ heat. Scheduling suggested we travel an hour away to get to a U-Haul location were we could get a truck face to face.
