The charge was not quoted on the web site. The check in person was extremely rude. I put down that the move was from Jacksonville FL to Melbourne but the bone head asshole in Aurora location in Melbourne said it was a local move in Jacksonville. It was confirmed by the guy in the Jacksonville pickup area that it was a move from Jackson to Melbourne. I will use anyone other then U-Haul from now on.

Horrible experience. Ben, the owner of where the uhaul was rented from was not interested in any element related to my rental. The truck was to be returned the evening of the day it was rented. I met the individual who was helping me move at a gas station to replenish the fuel that was used. He was to take the truck back to where it was picked up from. Ben received a call that evening asking if the truck could be returned in the morning, Ben obliged and said yes. The call was from the individual who helped me who was nowhere on the rental agreement. Ben should have never said that this was acceptable. He didn’t even take the time to call me the person who did the renting of the U-Haul. I showed up the next morning at Ben’s location and the U-Haul still had not been returned. I told Ben he needed to call the police. Ben called the individual who was helping me and told him he had to have it back by noon. Ben then told me if it’s not back by noon he will call the police and I thoroughly and fully agreed with him. Noon came and went, and Ben never called the police. Finally, in the evening I received a picture of the U-Haul sitting at the nearby county park and a card with the name of an individual who had the keys who worked at the senior center at the park. Ben ended up having to go get the truck himself as I was not in the area any longer and what should’ve been maybe 20 miles put on the truck ended up being 150 miles and no gas in it. Now U-Haul is trying to charge me $220 for something that the police should’ve been called for. Very disappointed in the entire transaction I will never nor should anyone else rent a U-Haul from this location.

My truck was NOT at the location where I made it . We were not notified, and had to drive around to locate the truck . Unfortunately this made me late to the surgeons appointment and they could not see me . Very upset !

Cars and U-Haul vehicles were somewhat haphazardly parked. As such the owner had to hand maneuver the trailer over to my truck to hook up and do the inspection. Not a significant factor but did affect first impressions of attention to detail.

Again no assistance from anyone. The location was a used car lot with broken down cars. The office was vacant. The lot is about the size of a Starbucks! Will not recommend.

They gave me the wrong lock code which set me back. I had to end up calling the property and waiting to get the code which set me back on time. I also rented a utility dolly which was not at the truck and was told I could come back 2 and half hours later when the store opened up to come get it. This set me back even more not having the dolly.

I paid for a dolly that was not in the truck and nobody was at the location for me to ask about it. I had to complete my move without a dolly.

It was difficult checking in and not clear that it was a 24 hour access. And that I had to check in through the app. I paid for the dolly and there was not a dolly in the truck

Truck was very dirty, AC didn’t work, was told I could return unused boxes for money in return and then there was no one at the location during work hours and was told to “just throw them away or take them.” Would not recommend Uhaul or this location to anyone.

My reservation was made 2 months in advance to this date I needed a 20 foot truck. I did not need anything bigger for my move for me and my Newly wedded Wife. On 02/13 I was called and told the original Location “Midgard” a U-Hual Location in Viera, Florida would NOT have a 20 foot truck, the representative who called stated they would call around surrounding locations in the Melbourne, Rockledge area for a 20 foot truck available for pick up at 8:30am. I was called back 15 mins later and told the “Cocoa Blvd” location would have a truck for that time. At 5:45 PM the same day, (02/13), I was told that there would not be a 20ft truck at this location or any other location around where the home was I needed to move out of. At this point the only option I had was to accept the 26ft truck which was way to big for the amount of stuff I would be loading on a truck. Fast forward for the morning of, I go to the Aurora Rd location to pick up my 26ft truck, upon getting to the point of the online check in where I was to find which truck it was, I discovered it was tucked behind ANOTHER 26ft truck, this made it incredibly frustrating at this point and I have to maneuver this large truck VERY carefully to avoid damage to the property and the same size truck behind me. I also discovered upon arriving to my home I was moving out of, I was never given the Utility Dolly or furniture pads I had purchased along with the truck rental. At this point I am extremely frustrated. The overall care in this situation was not handled properly and I felt like my reservation that was made 2 months in advance to this date was not important enough to ensure I was given the truck I was ordered. Not sure who is to blame but this situation overall delayed the moving process and caused lots of frustration for me and my now wife. Whoever sees this I really do hope you and your corporate offices take this situation into account - I would hate for this to happen to anyone else who rents a U-Hual Truck.

Failed on using app to rent uhaul. The glare on my license prevented picking up before facility opened. pushed back rental time by 1 1/2 hours to work other move items. Went back to facility to pick up truck. Great and quick service to recover delay. Appreciate the promptness of facility representative to get me moving again. Failed with app ... but in person pickup and experience recovered. Recognition to the associate helping me to pickup. Thani You.

This location isn’t the greatest for a 26 foot truck. It’s off the main road with a parking lot too small for the truck and the parking spot is on the side of the building with no place to turn around since there’s a dead end at the end of the road. I had to use someone’s driveway to turn around. Good location for small trucks but not a 26 foot

Dry rotten tires could have killed us. Tire blew. Out!!! On 95. I should have a refund !!! you should inspect these trailers. !!!!! It was almost 4 hours til we got back on the road. Cost me an extra tank of gas and had to pay for my i loaders since we got home late. I don’t think you care if you stressed me out. I feel you owe me my money back!!!!!!!!!! 717-855-8898

There was no one there to help at 3:30 pm and I asked for a Dolly and he had none but I looked at his office and he had some sitting there. The uhaul didn’t have the slide in walk way in the back so it made it extremely difficult to load things in the uhaul… never going to this location again.

Reserrved a 15' but when I got there, had to take a 26' even though they had a 15' onsite. I asked why I couldn't take the 15' and the owner said it was because I made a reservation with U-Haul not him. That didn't make any sense! I did end up getting a 26' for the same price but the gas guzzling was much more.

Uhual people I spoke to gave me bad info on returning a car trailer. Basically many encounters & uhual employees have no idea what they are doing or saying. The lady today was helpful today but previous drop off gave me grief when I did what the uhual employee told me to do at another location. Once again same scenario & now she understood but at my expense.

I was charged a double rate for returning my rental after hours on the same day as pick up. There should have been, at max, a $20 charge for this. Also, the individual who took our information and got the truck for us had also not wanted to remove the utility cart that was already in the cargo area of the truck. Stating, ‘It’s fine, use it.’ with no other context or mention of being charged to that specific piece of equipment.

tires on the trailer were just about bald, he said I had an open ticket to return it anywhere in sebastion, FL... well at 4:17 PM the same day no one answered their phone, one guy that did was done for the day, next day I take it to a uhaul that is open at 7 am because the guy i'm dealing with doesn't open till 9AM, they tell me they can't take it, the original guy lied to me. so I have to take it back to him, after 9 am he isn't at his office, I call him and tell him I'm dropping it off, he did however close out my ticket. it would be good if they vet the people that are buying into uhaul rentals, there seems to be a lot of " uhaul nieborhood " locations and I think they are BS.

Truck had sand on floor and open (unfinished) soda bottle in it. MOST IMPORTANTLY - wipers malfunctioned on my trip while encountering heavy rain in Orlando area. The nut holding the wipers on were loose - I had to stop constantly to tighten with a leatherman hand tool - not ideal! Ended up finishing the trip with only one side working.

Have gas in the truck! Had 2 miles left until empty. Pulled out of uhaul park I g lot and said 1 mile left. I put $40 in the tank and was still charged .79cents a mile.

When i select a location for 24/7 service I expect the truck to not have a dead battery when i started it I expect it to work Lost 2 hrs on my move I expect a refund. Will never ever use uhaul again if uhaul does not compensate me for two hrs I lost and needed for my move. Couldn’t get it done because of the lost time
