Arleshia WI rented for 2r hours for local use, and was overcharged, for hundreds of miles. They kept poor records. Then I had ro go through the ringer ro get this resolved.

I was told I drove 200 miles in one day and was over charged.. how I drove 200 miles if I went from Brooklyn to queens and back to brooklyn these people don’t check they trucks … I’m pretty sure the guy put in the wrong mileage before I got the vehicle
cory sWe should not be charged 20.00 for after hours drop off if you are not late. You should get credit for bringing back full when gas was only 3/8 when you picked it up

Cornelius CMy pickup was delayed 1/2 hour by the location opening late which made my time off. Things about drop off weren’t explained to me beyond that they were closing without consideration for the time in my rental that I paid for. I was told no one would be there to collect key and to bring the key on Monday but I don’t live close to location. It was not explained beyond bringing keys on Monday so I planned for time that best suited my schedule.

Susan AFirst of all, this should not be a place to rent a uhaul, it is an office with not parking or any of the convenience you are used to getting. Truck was dirty and they are trying to charge me for 2 days when I returned it on the same day. Horrible not only will I never used that place but I will put a review in goggle.

Jeannette BThere needs to be a designated drop site not riding around looking for nearby street parking. I spent 25 minutes looking for parking upon returning the van on a Saturday afternoon in a busy section in Brooklyn. Had I known this before renting I would have chosen a different U-Haul site.

kenrick cYou authorized dealer(s)/contractor(s) need to be trained in proper Covid-19 procedures. For instance, when someone books a rental for 12:00pm, and arrives timely, but is instructed by other customers that the sales agent only allows tow (2) persons in the office/site at a time and, when it’s the customer’s turn to enter, he is told he is “late”. There should be a check in system outside if this is the case. Finally, I booked a furniture Dolly and was told it had been booked before me. Yet when I used the App to book, it said the Dolly was available. There should be more than one Dolly at the site.

Angelor LThe location was closed upon arrival. I waited about 10 minutes until the next door business owner called someone who didn’t even identified himself as the U-Haul location merchant until I asked who he was. The merchant didn’t even know if there was a van yet I scheduled it and it was confirmed through the email. I then let him know we were looking at a you U-Haul van, he then said oh good you can rent it. Finalizing the request was also an issues because he had his location as closed and I couldn't complete the reservations on the app for the 24-7 rental until the merchant did whatever he did from his side. Remember all this was over the phone. The customer services was poor, apparently the reservation didn’t finalize, which I wasn’t aware but at that point we were already about 5 blocks away when the merchant called me and accused us of stealing the van quote “we stole his van and that was a federal offense”. I was already an hour late trying to resolve these issues on something that should have taken no more than 15 minutes. To top it off the van apparently had a low tire which his prior client left him a note on his dash board about it and it also has service warnings upon starting the van. I would have not went through with this rental if it wasn’t due to my circumstances. Upon returning the van I asked him for the final quote when we returned and he never returned the call. Never again at this location. It was just an odd experience.
